February 20, 2008Well now that i figured out how to do this again! Beauty's definition is Jeannine.... Not only beautiful, Jeannine is mesmerizing. She's a full spirited person, and she is an amazing fire performer! No one can work those fans like her (don't even try). She's such a positive soul, that she makes rooms glow when she enters them. I'm truly happy i met such an amazing person!
December 7, 2004A smart, talented, funny, kind, hard-working, caring, exotic, beautiful woman that I'm lucky to be marrying.
Jeannine is an all-around amazing person and the love of my life...
November 9, 2004So, you're curious about J9... Start by adding brains to beauty with a caring, sweet spirit, and you'll have an idea of how Jeannine affects the world. Oh, and did I add that's she's funny? She's full of stories, anecdotes, and, when needed, a life lesson or two. She's a busy woman who never stints on the time to give an encouraging word to a friend or anyone else who asks for help. Get her talking about her life and you discover the fascinating and intricate journey she's made to where she is today.
As a dancer and teacher, her understanding of the breadth and depth of the moves is impressive. She's a keen observer, so her critiques are always intelligent and constructive. And, if I may say, she's got one of the best cobra moves I've seen. Bravo, Jeannine!

Blood Clots/Stroke - They Now Have a Fourth Indicator, the Tongue
I will continue to forward this every time it comes around!
STROKE: Remember the 1st Three Letters.... S.T.R.
It only takes a minute to read this...
A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke... totally . He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.
RECOGNIZING A STROKE
Thank God for the sense to remember the '3' steps, STR
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:
S * Ask the individual to SMILE.
T * Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (coherently); e.g., "It is sunny out today."
R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.
If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call emergency number immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.
New Sign of a Stroke -------- Stick out Your Tongue
NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out his or her tongue.. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other, that is also an indication of a stroke.

Please go here and vote on your favorite ticket art finalist: www.playadelfuego.org/content.../149/93/Sun, March 16, 2008 - 7:01 PM permalink - 5 comments
I just found out about the voting. Polls close tonight! My ticket submission is in 2nd place; I'm so excited :-) Mine is the burning My Little Pony toy. I shot the photo last fall PDF as part of Marta and Camp 215's Scavenger Hunt "Burn, Baby, Burn" entry. I found the toy on the Trader Travis table at fall PDF. The original photo shows more fire; Joanna (the ticket person) cropped the photo so it would fit on the ticket. It would be awesome if mine was picked, but there's some wonderful entries, so no matter which is picked, the final ticket will rock.

I'm rehearsing tonight with a group of fire performers, and we need trained fire safeties to be on hand from 9 p.m till around 10 or 11 p.m. in Philadelphia. If you can make it, we would REALLY appreciate it. Send me a PM or e-mail by 7 p.m. and I'll give you the details. Hope you are all happy and healthy and loving life.
I had a wisdom tooth taken out this morning. OUCH!!! I put it off forever (obviously). It caused a lot of trouble to nearby teeth, my ear, and a sinus cavity, and it didn't have to be this bad. If only I could turn back time, I would have taken care of it in my twenties when healing was quicker and before damage could happen. The whole reason for this blog is to urge my younger friends to get your wisdoms out when it is easiest. Do not wait. Even if a wisdom tooth is not impacted, it can still cause lots of damage. Just bite the bullet and take care of it. Learn from my mistake.Tue, July 10, 2007 - 3:02 PM permalink - 9 comments
P.S., Sorry I will have to miss the PEX clean up.
