Well, after close to 6 years as Kuma to ALL my online friends, I have decided my name should reflect my interests more than the Japanese word for "bear" - long story. Ask me sometime.

I posted an ad on Craigslist in hopes of finding others interested in spinning. I want to start a fire troupe in the area and teach those who want to learn. The next day or so, a reporter from the local paper contacted me and was interested in the whole poi/fire thing. She wants to do a story with pics! So we're waiting on the photographer's schedule to set this up. Talk about a catapult! I'm hoping to fire things up in this town! Wish me luck!

Thank you all that helped me decide. It was basically a vote, with mine counting as 2 - lol. For those of you that are curious, Jabir is Arabic for "counselor" which is really closer to what I am. Plus its closer to my real name.
