its been a good week - summer solstice - pride festival - 10 day vacation- some highlights: last night we dressed up in our finest & stole away on our bicycles - we danced, people watched, said helloooo to friends, then we snuck off & picked mulberries from a tree backstage from the thumpthumpthump & came home and made a pie!

so i find myself working like crazy, living the high life in the nutso neauveax area of Dubai... our hotel is fancy, the ocean (complete with Camel rides!) is just steps away from it AND the pool with the swim-up bar... sunsets are amazing, and im working as a part of a crazy cultural event - the dubai international film festival - hanging out (inthesameplacesas - not quite "with") MOS DEF, laurence fishburn... and most importantly - JONAH! holy crap its nice to see him again!
