Life changes

The past few months have been very enlightening for me. My daughter is becoming an adult by leaps and bounds. I am torn between cheerng and crying. There are times when I feel like life has gone on without me. The last 19 years have been spent preparing her to spread her wings, but it is hard to watch her fly.

I have also been going through a lot of changes at work. My area was downsized and I was reassigned to another area. This wouldn't be a problem if it was something I wanted to do. At a time in my life when I feel like things should be winding down towards retirement, I find myself trying to change careers. I have had to take a hard look at my life and find that I am lacking in many things. There is also a possibility that I may not have a job after the first of the year due to an error on my part. I have been job searching and trying to remain positive that all things will work out well. Maybe it's time for me to reach out beyond myself and ask for help (not an easy thing to do).

Being an astrology buff, I have looked at both my solar return and progressed chart for my next birthday. My solar return shows my sun and ceres conjunct the ascendant and vesta conjunct the descendant. I'm going to have to get in touch with my astrologer and discuss this with her. The olny thing I remember about my progressed chart is that my progressed sun will be in Pisces.

I'm going back to searching the tribe site, modifying my site and looking on the net for awhile. I don't know how often I will blog, I'm not real consistent with journalling, or pouring out my thoughts to been seen by the human eye (mine or anyone else's).
