Jaine is mature, intelligent, BRILLIANT, articulate, and most of all, truely present in life.
She has been a little bit of an "online" blessing to me, setting the bar somewhat high for some other people I would meet. its amazing how some people can make a huge impact on you just by being present in your life to some capacity...Jaine is one of those people. she is one TOUGH cookie, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Her drive and determination to achieve her goals is so inspiring. on top of all of this, she is BEAUTIFUL. Her inner beauty is self evident, and she sets a great example for other people to follow. I am glad she has given me the chance to be part of her online life-even if it is somewhat on the outskirts. i am proud, REALLY proud to know her. and for her age, she is super mature and WISE beyond her years. I REALLY like Jaine. Her standoffishness when you first meet her is completely deceiving. Don't buy it. Through her blogs she lets all her tribe friends know how totally sensitive, wicked intelligent and quick she is. She's a mysterious little thing though, so open and honest, and at other times a bit quiet--you can see it in her eyes when she's deciding to trust someone else. I'm always psyched when she comes into town because it means blue fin sushi, or a night of exhilarating body contact juggling at greg's, or just hanging out and spinning and showing me how good she's gotten at contact juggling (how good?=VERY good!) I'm waiting patiently for the day when she's finished with school. She better move down here and start spinning with us. The bay area loves her. : )

I bet it's late, so late it might be early again and here I am, awake and thinking. Seeking out the reason and the means to define myself in terms of myself and no one else and my digital autonomy has given me this chance. This is typical. This is the hour that tells me it's time for an overhaul. I don't want to be black or white or grey, I want the snowstorm. I want to be static, just like Mike McGee. Channel 2.5, that's me alright. I want to blend in and then explode. I am easy to understand when you choose to understand me. There is no dangerous territory when you approach it from the middle, no angles, no presupposition. most of you bay kids know where i'm not staying. most of you know where i am staying. if you have my number, or my email, you should gimme a call on, say, thursday. hanging out should happen. sorry about the failure to get ahold of anyone when i was down there before decom. you get a second try this next weekend. yay!

today is already crossed off. monday, tuesday, and wednesday. then very early thursday, I say "peace out" to civilization. the 180 degree shift from my first exposure to burning man is complete. i'm in love with my destination. Big empty desert. Unbearable heat. Choking dust storms. Freezing nights. I want it all. And on thursday morning, yeah I'm gonna say, I'm going home. A load of laundry, a carton cigarettes, and few cans of dolmas stand between me and being totally ready for Burning Man....

I survived the Europe trip! It feels like I was gone so much longer than I was. the EJC was awesome and I'd share pictures if I had them, but my camera (along with a whole bunch of other shit) got stolen on my last day in Spain. Alas. I learned some really dope tricks and rewired my head a bit. Currently, I'm hoping to host a benefit to help recoup some of my financial losses. More on that when I know what's up. I train... a lot. I had a nearly private aerial lesson yesterday and was thus barely functional at the larger group lesson today. I can straddle-up with straight legs more often now and i can do "needle" from a few climbs up without fail (or at least I did today). I hurt today. A lot, actually. I have an actual private lesson on Thursday, so I can be fairly certain to hurt well into the weekend. My instructors want me to do a short routine at their studio's open house on sunday too.
