I moved to DC in 2001 and soon after started belly dance classes. It has been hard, fun, enlightening and somewhere along the way I have made some of the best friends of my life. I am learning that belly dance and even my beloved tribal belly dance has its darker moments but I can honestly say that I wouldn't trade any of my experiences.
I dance to be with my friends, I dance to push my myself mentally and physically and I dance to express joy.
