Not only does "no" mean no, but also "too messed up to contemplate the question" means no.
Keep an eye on your friends at Burner events and make sure if they're really drunk or whatever, there isn't anything happening they might not be in control of that they wouldn't want.

Based on her story I kindof think she was rufied.
Another lesson could be that before you start partying, establish some kind of plan with someone you trust. If you aren't around anyone who knows you well enough to know what your expectations of the evening are, don't get high/intoxicated. Appartently it is not safe to assume that people you've partied with before will know your boundaries. Part of the problem was that nobody really knew her well enough to know that wasn't something she wanted. We all know she gets naked in public and gets high, but who knew that she wasn't trying to get that high? Who knew that she doesn't let any old guy stick it in her? I have witnessed nudity and sexual abandon in public at burner parties. Had I been there that night I wouldn't have known something was wrong. With so many interpretations of what is acceptable behavior in this community, there is no one standard that anyone can be held to unless they have established it first. A little, "Hey guys, I like the freedom of nudity but I don't have sex in public, and I'm not intending to take drugs tonight, so if you see me acting like I'm out of it, there's something wrong." |

Are there people who will get high and let any old guy stick it in them? I haven't seen it, and had sort of assumed it didn't happen, but I don't go to that many parties.
