“I pray that each one of you may perceive the vision of peace and have the will and courage and compassion to manifest it. May the thoughts that obscure the inherent beauty be transmuted, revealing the means of right relationship. And may you be called forth as a Peacekeeper, turning aside anger, shame and blame, calling forth harmony and joy for all relations.”

Do an inner spring cleaning at the Circle of the Seven Harmonies
(events » community)
Wednesday, April 2, 2008 - 7:30 PM
8 RSVPs
Come meet your own wonderful self as you take the time to journey into the most Sacred Space of the Heart, where you will find the Wellspring of Your Being. Let the healing waters of life pour in and down and through you, cleansing and tuning the 7 chakras. Meet your angels and guides who delight to love you, comfort you, heal and inspire you. Let Great Spirit, Holy Spirit be so fully present within you that your fears and your doubts fall away, so that you may truly "follow your Spirit without hesitation" in this monumental time of change.
The new moon in Aries is April 5, and the next new moon circle is Monday April 7, so this is a perfect opportunity to do the inner spring cleaning to clear the way for the spring energy getting ready to bloom, a chance to prepare the psychic soil for the planting of the next seeds of intention.
Bring something yummy to share. I'll provide coffee and tea. Please make reservations, by phone or e-mail, since seating is limited, and be kind enough to let me know if your plans change.
Your love donation is greatly appreciated. Home phone 314-601-3789, cell 314-283-3777. E-mail jbreeze46@aol.com

Life is such a wonderful adventure! I met a delightful woman named Marlene at the Feb 10 showing of The Secret, a fundraiser for the 22nd annual World Peace Day. We right away discovered that we share a love of laughter. Turns out she teaches and practices Laughter Yoga — wow that's the kind of yoga I could do. I asked her to send me the details of when and where she gathers folks together to laugh, and here is the information she sent me. For a while my schedule is busy on Sundays, but I may change my schedule to allow me to attend sometime soon. Laughter is truly THE BEST MEDICINE. Maybe some of you will get a chance to go, even if I can't make it yet.
lots of love & laughter,
jeannie
"My laughter club (laughter yoga) meets every Sunday afternoon at 4 pm at Eliot Chapel in Kirkwood. (Enter through the rear parking lot entrance.) It is open to anyone wanting to laugh. It does not require jokes or a sense of humor per se. There was a great article about laughter yoga in the October 2006 Yoga Journal. It is available on line. That should give you an idea what this is about. Also the website for laughter yoga is www.laughteryoga.org That will give people gobs of information.
"There is no charge for the Sunday sessions but I do gratefully accept donations. The idea is that the laughter club should be available for anyone wanting to laugh regardless of ability to pay.
"It has been very wonderful and healing for me. I started it after recovering from breast cancer. I completely believe in its benefits now. I originally got interested in it for my own healing. I decided it would be a win win situation. If I sent a positive energy out to people with laughter it would come back to me!! But now I just love it and look forward to my Sunday group! I do go out to other places to do it but then I charge for those group usually. Feel free to spread the word. The more people we have in the group the better it works!
"Much light and laughter to you!! HOHOHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!
Marlene"

I know there may be many of you moved to say something, so I will try to be brief.
My mom was such an example of beauty and grace, she was an amazing role model, but one whose example was perhaps hard to follow, since I am not sure I could ever match her precision, her immaculate presence, her perfect and always seemly decorum. As my life became more and more alternative after I left teaching, my mom and dad could not always understand my decisions and life choices. My mom didn’t know what to tell people, for instance, when I picked a new name, and became Jeannie Breeze, nor how to explain my work as a “full-time free-lance evolutionary agent”, as I have come to describe myself. But she absolutely understood and always supported my work for peace. For 21 years I have organized a big annual peace event in St. Louis, part of a worldwide hour of prayer for peace & planetary healing, which we call World Peace Day here.
This year’s theme was “Opening the Heart”, and when the theme announced itself to me, back in October, I had no idea that circumstances would work so deeply to open up my own heart as I prepared for this year’s celebration. My mom was “stroked” by the Universe, as author & spiritual teacher Ram Dass would say, 4 days after Thanksgiving, and made her transition on the new moon in Sagittarius, Dec. 20, the day before Solstice. My two prayers at the last new moon circle were that her passing be surrounded with as much grace and ease as possible, that she not be left to suffer the pain nor the indignities of her diminished condition. And I asked that that same grace and ease allow me to manage to accomplish World Peace Day along the way. My prayers were both answered – even if it was the Fierce Grace that Ram Dass went on to describe after he suffered a stroke.
I spent Christmas day going through albums of photos to pick out pictures for my mom’s memorial service, and we buried her the next day. As you have heard, my mom’s dad was a Methodist minister. It was not mentioned, but my dad’s father was also a Methodist minister. In fact, my mom & dad met at Centenary Methodist Church in downtown St. Louis at “conference”. As I’ve heard the story, they met on a Friday night, and my dad put his arm across the pew and would not let my mom leave until she promised to be there again the next day. On Saturday when they met again, he invited her to lunch, and then to a movie, and then to dinner, where he proposed and she accepted. And as you all know, when my mom re-married after my father’s death, she married a retired Methodist minister, also the son of a Methodist minister. A friend used to tell me there was a Methodist in my madness. However that is, I lovingly dedicated this year’s World Peace Day to my little mama, who taught and exemplified peace to so many.
I want to share 3 brief comments sent from others….my cousin Maria, in Florida, sent an e-mail yesterday telling of an extraordinary experience. She was riding with a friend and neighbor John Willey, and thinking of my mom as they drove. He told her he had found something in his glove compartment, an unsealed envelope postmarked August 6, 2006. He had no idea where it came from and opened it, thinking it might have been something Maria had given him, but no – it was a “perfectly marvelous picture of Vera and Jack”, taken in May of 2006. There was no note, just the picture. Maria had never seen it. It just appeared there – as if my mom was saying hello and sending her love, as Maria was thinking of her.
And my cousin Phil, in Texas, a retired firefighter, serving now as CHIEF TRAINING OFFICER OF ODESSA (JR.) COLLEGE FIRE ACADEMY, sent a lovely note saying, “I can’t describe how I felt about her. I will ever and always remember her smile. I know everyone felt this way, but when she smiled at me, even when the room was full of family or whoever, it seemed like we were the only two people in the room. She just made me feel special. Such an elegant lady. I don’t think they make women like her anymore.”
A young friend of mine, who never met my mom, but who calls me “mom”, sent me a beautiful card with this verse, inspired by an Eskimo legend. “Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.”
What a lovely thought! I have yet another thought, however. Those of us of the McDaniel clan have “Indian” blood. As a child, that was my favorite part of my family history. Turns out we are part Cherokee….I have been deeply touched as an adult by Cherokee teachings as shared by Cherokee lineage holder Dhyani Ywahoo, author of Voices of Our Ancestors”. Dhyani says that when a soul is especially bright and significant in the lives of many, that soul can become a star. She says her grandmother became one. I like that thought. I wrote a little poem about my Mother, in that regard. You will need to remember that I mentioned that she made her transition on the New Moon in Sagittarius, on the eve of Solstice, the longest night of the year, and the day when many celebrate the coming of the Light as the days begin to grow longer. Now, Sagittarius is the archer, and deeply significant in my mom’s life and mine, since my dad and my daughter are Sagittarians, both born on Nov 30. So here is my little poem, with which I will close.
Dark Dark, the eve of first Winter night
Dark Moon, New Moon, before the birth of Light,
How wondrously you come to bless
This little bird ready to take flight.
Little mama, lovely so long,
Once locked in some restricted form
You did not choose to stay too long forlorn
Fierce grace has torn aside the fragile veil
And lifted you to be reborn in higher, finer realm
To mount up as with the wings of eagles
Wasn’t that your favorite verse?
Oh, Sagittarian archer with your lightning pace
Draw your bow to send this star
To her rightful heavenly place.
remember – every time a bell rings, an Angel get its wings
Ring Bell – this one is for my mom.

PS: When I read my eulogy an amazing thing happened. Immediately after I said a soul could become a star, the light broke through the clouds on what up till that moment had been a grey, misty day, and a shaft of light burst through a window to fall full on my face! It was so profound, I gasped, and could not help but comment how The Divine responds to us! The light did not fall on anyone else who spoke, and, in fact, went away after I was done, but returned once again when I stood at the podium a second time, to read a comment from one of my mom's many devoted former students. My friend Donna Stagner said she was sure that my mom was shining her light down on me. It seemed a divine confirmation for sure - one that has carried me since that day.

When I came across this quote on the The Hunger Site [ www.thehungersite.com/ ], I knew it was the perfect greeting for the New Year, especially after this year's warm and wonderful World Peace Day. I meant to send it out sooner, but perhaps it is perfect that I send it out today [3 Jan 07], which is the Full Moon in Cancer. Please love yourself for exactly who you are, and release anything and everything that is not nurturing to you and in alignment with the Divine and Precious Child you are. Thank you all for being on Planet Earth with me at this amazing time.
much peace & light,
Jeannie

Bright and Beautiful Beings!
The 21st annual World Peace Day event felt warm and wonderful, as always. Thanks to all of you who came to share your light, and to light the way to peace on Planet Earth. I dedicated the service to my mom, who was an elementary school teacher all her life. She truly taught and exemplified peace.
Thanks for your love and support.

"Get that word 'peace' - Department of Peace - out there as constantly as you can do so. This organization and you people are on the leading edge of that campaign... through your organization the word spreads out among the people, so it becomes a more popular thing to be counted as one of the pilgrims, trying to lead us to this promised land of peace."

Jeannie believes that we are all children of a Divine Source, with the power of the Divine inherent within us. She teaches that thought is creative, that words have power, that our imaginations can be a tool in creating outcomes in our lives. She knows that Love is the greatest power available to us all, and that Love connects us, can heal us, and can work through us to create peace on earth.
