I hate this part.
I have to write a 'Testimonial' .
John Kelly stole my name.
If I had been 'On Playa' three years prior...I would have stole his wife.
We used to joke about 'John Kelly' version 1.2...but the fact is...he won.
I have stories to tell. 2002 in particular. But. He won!
Fuck yer day!!!

I too cannot believe that Kelly has so few testimonials.
Kelly is one of the most resourceful, dependable, and amazingly cool people I have ever met. This cat can wire a stage blindfolded, hancuffed, and backwards...with NO LADDER. Thats right, I've seen him levitate. Don't tell anybody.
Kelly, I am SO glad to call you my friend and just stoked you're breeding. The world just needs more people like you and Alex, and thats no joke.

I just noticed that Kelly has no testimonials and that is just wrong! Wrong wrong wrong! Get on it people!
Kelly rocks. He is a great father, a loving husband, a good friend and a goof-ball extraordinaire.
I'm too damn tired to paint word pictures strong enough to do this man justice. I've known him for more years than I haven't and hope I will know him for many more to come.
There. Do I get my $20 bucks now?
On the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, it's crucial to champion the American values of tolerance, diversity, and freedom for all. Remember, just because Bush43 and his followers used this horrible tragedy to push an unnecessary war that killed tens of thousands of innocent people while at the same time attacking the Constitution he swore to defend, that does not necessarily mean that all Republicans are evil.

I found this completely randomly flipping trough a book I keep around just to randomly flip through. It seems amazingly appropriate and important, so here it is.
"What do we mean when we say that first of all we seek liberty? I often wonder whether we do not rest our hopes too much upon constitutions, upon laws and upon courts. These are false hopes; believe me, these are false hopes. Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women; when it dies there, no constitution, no law, no court can eve...

Galen is apparently discovering and processing mortality, and I don't think it's too easy for him. We haven't been discussing it explicitly, but we took him to the Dia De Los Muertos procession in San Francisco for the second time (without going to deep into what it really meant), and the night before last he watched the 2007 stop-action film of 'Peter and the Wolf', a version where the duck is eaten and does NOT miraculously escape. Alexandria was watching it with him while I was in tech reh...

Aw, fuck. 60 is too damn young, though older than a lot of my now gone friends. This has been a shiity year for this - Don Brown, my old friend Mike McGlaughlin, Shooter, Mary Jo,...fuck.
Teddy sniffing glue, he was 12 years old
Fell from the roof on East Two-nine
Cathy was 11 when she pulled the plug
On 26 reds and a bottle of wine
Bobby got leukemia, 14 years old
He looked like 65 when he died
He was a friend of mine
Those are people who died, died
They were all my friends, and...
