Originally I thought of getting a Pentium II laptop from Ultrasoft, but an auction on eBay tempted me more...



By January I'll have a 19" LED flat monitor for my computer. Even with the exchange and with shipping it comes to less than $170; the least expensive price I've seen in stores here is $279, also new!

I can't quite put into words just how satisfying it is to have my master copy in my hands. I've hopefully made all the necessary corrections, proofread it several times, and hopefully corrected the image photocopy bug from last issue.



Now I have to get it copied up. According to my schedule that will be Fridat.

I have to say that I like this one.

I wrote nearly 4000 words in a day. I could have made 50 K using the =rand(x) feature in word, but that would be cheating myself. Also: I wanted to finish this novel for Boots. How could I dedicate a lie to him? I would have liked to enter 5, win 5 - but I like keeping my integrity more.



This was a difficult year, trying to get my novel done while taking care of Boots and dealing with some MS spasticity issues (no pity please. It is what it is), but I think I still did pretty good despite these things.



I still will finish my novel in the next day or two. If I can still get my free copy from Lulu.com, Boots dedication will be in it.

There are about 13 hours left until NaNoWrimo 2007 ends. 13 hours to write another 6,000 words.



I won't lose my first one in 5 years, and I won't let my promise to Boots fail. I will do this!
