Reality strikes hard when my landlord's attorney calls on Tuesday afternoon. He's still serious about evicting me and will even "go out of business" to make it happen. Ack!

Late afternoon BBQ, Beer and Beats!

Lola and I went down to city hall and filed paperwork to become domestic partners today! Yes, we're getting married in October, but our housing situation caused us to rethink the timing of an "official committment." Funny thing is that our domestic partnership is only recognized by the City of San Francisco and not by the State of California. We, as a society, need to get our act together and afford everybody the same rights!

Anyway, 8/8/05 a BIG DAY for us!

I'm responsible for the main sound system at the Critical Tits Afterparty. While I've secured a kick-ass Turbo sound system and have technics 1200s, cd decks and a Heath&Allen Mixer, I'm short on power. If anyone knows someone who would loan us a generator for a few hours on Friday afternoon of Burningman, we would be stoked! (and would arrange for a nice treat for you at the afterparty!). We will take full responsibility for the safety of genny and supply our own fuel, of course.
