oh how I love this man... one of the reasons I got into spoken word to begin with. Maya Angelou being my first introduction, to the power behind the voice speaking the word. I discovered him skipping through cable late one night and sighting a movie titled "Slam".
Everyone should watch it, especially if they like this piece. As I said earlier, it's a bit intense, but so is life.... aaaauuuuummmmm " ~ ) love to you always ~jnae |
