Oh, for an extra dose of wakefulness, a spider fell or lept onto my arm from the ceiling. I saw it hours ago on the ceiling and hoped it would just keep moving past my bed and away from me. I can't believe it fell/jumped onto me. That's never happened to me, as far as I know. Thus, the little spider met it's end. I generally don't kill spiders because I know they're eating other bugs in the home and they usually get out of my way. But this one lost its chance when it lept onto a stressed out, sleep-deprived chick.
