I never was a dancer, in fact I was a bad dancer, I hated the ballet classes my parents made me take. I went to parties and was confused by the strange footsteps and patterns my friends used when they danced. Soon after the birth of my son I had my first bellydance experience and my love of dance took off like wildfire. My very first class was a Turkish Dance Class offered by Gayle Wayne, soon after I found Celena (Awesome and complex zill patterns) who works in Egyptian, Soon after, I dived right into Indian Classical, Tribal, and modern fusion. I still take classes, and I love to get into workshops. I studied for a year and a day (and continue to do so) with Come as You Are Coven in Berkeley and I am Ordained as a Priestess of Sacred Dance in the Wildflower Tradition of Caya Coven in 2009.
