INTRO to GOTHIC BELLYDANCE (Level 1)
In this 5-week course you will learn with JeniViva, a professional Bellydancer for over 7 years and also one of the pioneers of the East Coast Gothic Bellydance Movement. Utilizing the core elements and movements of American, Egyptian, and Turkish Cabaret, Tribal-Fusion, Ritual, and Theatrical Dance you will be immersed in an alternative genre of Bellydance.
JeniViva, creator of an original Gothic Bellydancer's Vocabulary entitled "The Serpentine Method©" which enables you to translate the shadow side of yourself into a sensual and sacred dance. Focus will be on proper form, building a stronger body, as well as learning how to express yourself in a safe non-competitive environment.
