I believe that our power for celebration is a great tool in our activist arsenal. I think that performance is a valuable motivational tool, an entertaining moralizer and a hill of fun. Marching bands in the street, the Radical Cheerleaders, renegade clowning, the Biotic Baking Brigade, cacerolazo, street dances, going to jail in a gorilla suit and roller skates—all powerful instruments to inspire change and move the masses.
