So...I feel like writing about my birthday before I get to the Hawaii stuff....which, by the way, was kick ass! We had a really wonderful time. I've loaded some pictures into a slideshow that should be playing on my myspace page (let me know if it's not working). I'll write about it later...for now, I want to write about my very awesome birthday evening.

So the morning was nice and slow, Box took our friend to the vet in Arcata and I chilled at the house. He came back with flowers and birthday cake - he's such a great guy! We enjoyed a sunny walk at the Elk River slough with our amazing dogs, whom we missed very much during our cruise. Then we ate a bit of Chinese food and came home to get ready for Dionysian Delights, a Club Risqué event....and what an event! I was so lucky to have my birthday on the same night :)

I thought I was going to dress up Hawaiian style for the night....but I actually wasn't feeling very good nor very sexy, I just wasn't feeling the Hawaiian thing....then it clicked - I'd wear my wedding dress! I'd look and feel like a princess and fulfill my desire to wear my wedding dress more than once. Then I decided instead of getting birthday spankings, I'd give them. Once I made up my mind about my outfit and goals for the night I started to get excited for the party. I put on my velvety, furry, emerald green dress, put on my sparkly earrings and necklace. I made myself a head wreath of ivy and faux grapes and left my hair down. Box tightened me into my corset...that all by itself helps me feel sexy....by the time we left I was feeling like the sexy birthday goddess that I was.

Even thought it was my birthday, I still wanted to volunteer at the party...I love working at the parties! E and B were so kind as to put Box and I on the first shift of the night, which was very nice, thanks guys! We were all done by the time performances started and it started getting busy.
