What can I say about Jes Muse? We met on the phone - she was my rider rep for the Boston to New York AIDS Ride (the hurricane year!), and then became a co-worker when I landed an AIDS Ride job. We worked AIDS Ride in Texas and a few others, and together we loaded trucks, fended off the advances of the signage driver, stayed up late, got up early and dressed up at the closing party. Jes is a super fun homie with loads of charm and a huge heart. Also a dang fine artist - a real one, not a poseur. And a musician. And a do-gooder. And she took me to the Pixies concert! Jes is one gem among many stones.
