That's from the Witches of Eastwick. If there was a rant that was the complete opposite of what is said above, that's how I feel about Jesse Wright. He's like a brother to me and I'd lay down in traffic for him if he asked. Luckily for me I don't think he'd ask me to do that.
He's an okay DJ too.

When I could find absolutely no music on the playa that would rock my world I listened in and walked for blocks to an unknown open space....after dancing I go to thank the DJ and it's my campmate Jesse Wright. I always take friends to see Jesse Wright. He heals me and makes me feel whole with his music, I feel his love very vividly when he lays down the groove. A deep soul and trusted friend.

I woke up this morning feeling very angry. I couldn't figure it out.
I took a shower and started scrubbing myself with one of the scratchy
towel things with Dr. Brauners on it. I scrubbed and scrubbed until I felt raw.
But that wasn't it.
I got out of the shower, slipped and fell on the tile floors and I think I was knocked out.
But in that time I was transported to a horrible place. A place where people shot kittens from slingshots.
Not just regular kittens, but these little monsters had 20 or so sets of paws all with fish-hook claws.
When I woke up, I took another shower and realized what my problem was.
THE MOR IS CLOSING IT'S DOORS FOREVER.
Please join me and Sammy and Maven tonight in saying goodbye?

Okay, that's better. Anyway, we'll be there tonight. We'll play music. Maven will make us drink.

I know that most of you have heard, but for those that haven't the Mor Bar is about to be No Mor(e).
That's right. Our home away from home. Our sonic testing grounds. Our alcohol fueled house rocket is done.
Won't you please help us send it out in style? The very last night of Burner lovin good times will be this Thursday.
Even though I have sworn off of playing out for a while, I couldn't turn down Maven when he asked me to play. Not just me though, Maven himself, Sammy Bliss and a surprise guest. (hint, you should be there)
Also, we are ignoring all the City of Santa Monica sound ordinance Thursday and we're bringing in a big chunk of the Mekka sound system.
It's kind of sad you know. We've had some amazing nights there and not all the best were packed. Some nights it was just us DJs and it was magical. Other nights it was packed wall to wall and everyone was literaly vibrating a few inches off the ground. But on to other things.

Cause I got a bunch that's been sitting and sitting and wishing to be played. So, before I put out the big email to everyone, I thought I would let a few close friends know first.
The vinyl ranges all over the board from Deep House, Trance, a very little psy trance, breaks, electro, tech house, prog, tribal...you name it.
Shoot me an email if you want to set up a time to chill out up here and go through music for a few hours. I'll try to get more information when I get a chance. You know, labels, artists an all that.

Hey ya'll
Backyard Bootcamp (No, no backdoor booty camp, that's a whole nuther thing I do) is doing a free workout tomorrow. 9am day after Turkey day. That's right! Eat everything you can and then come and work out with us for 2 hours!!!
We're going to meet at 9am sharp (be early!) at the South end of Reseda where Dirt Mulholland crosses. Exit the 101 at Reseda and head south, pass Ventura Blvd and go and go and go till it ends.
Bring a yoga mat and some water, we'll provide the rest. The first hour will be a workout and the second hour we take 3 groups running / hiking into the Santa Monica Mountains. It's gonna be gorgeous out tomorrow, it always is up there.

According to accuweather. The it's going to be 75 during the day, at the beach on Sunday October 12th. How perfect is that? And it's going to cool down quite a bit so we all get to bust out the fur!
