On Tuesday, March 18, a legendary music venue in downtown Birmingham called The Bomb Shelter hosted its final show, with Spottiswoode and His Enemies as the headliner. Birmingham band Menewa opened.

This is a plug for the Flying Monkey Arts Center in the old Lowe Mill in Huntsville, AL. According to their site -- www.flyingmonkeyarts.org -- "It's a not for profit community arts collective that encourages, supports, and promotes events, workshops and studios featuring but not limited to music, film, theater, dance, puppetry, visual and performance art with a focus on experimental works for mature audiences."
