Blogetry...

By Jesse Justin Koch

Anamnesis is defined as: The recollection or remembrance of the past; reminiscence. Or, in Platonism, recollection of the Ideas, which the soul had known in a previous existence.

Memory is creation, and it all begins with belief... belief that we have the ability to remember how all things began...

We need to consider our children in every decision we make. In my experience over the past several years I have learned much about people and the way we interact with ... read more

We need more government funding for primary, elementary, secondary, and post-secondary education. In order to maintain the knowledge that we have acquired thus far, as a species, we need a greater focus on co-operatively retaining, sharing, and handing down this knowledge to our children, without putting such a high price on enrollment in our educational institutions. Truly, education should be free to all, especially considering how much work is required in the day-to... read more

Analog memory, ubiquitous vision,
energized moments, linguistic decision.

A myriad spew of thoughts to stew,
pickled in people, awakened, anew.

Extrasensory multi-description,
freedom inhibits our inhibition.

Poking at faith in a sea of remorse,
Scrambling to follow the unknown course.

Cynical jokes, intelligence lost,
briefly reflecting karma's cost.

Hoping our love catches up with our hate,
time spilling over philosophy's plate.

Can't keep up ... read more

I'm sure many of you have heard of him.... This man is not only a pulitzer-prize winning author, professor of entymology at Harvard, & internationally recognized scientist, but also one of our key guardians of eco- and biological diversity across the globe. He'll lay it all down for anyone who's still confused about the disastrous consequences of the extinction of a single species and the attitudes and actions we must take for protection and sustainability. Some works ... read more

It's a Free-Market Economy...

about me
Artist, Musician, Philosopher.

Life to me is about rhythm and decision-making, realizing our true potenial, evolving, discovering freedom, and sharing our experiences regarding the intrinsic nature of existence.

Achieving harmony among people requires true love, compassion, and understanding. I believe I have been born into an intense and difficult period of history. The complications that face my generation should not be underestimated.

Change is a private matter, rarely public...

To aid humanity requires the betterment of oneself... To better oneself often involves the betterment of humanity.

I have a diploma in Music from Nelson's Selkirk College; I've played at various locations accross Canada with some damn good bands. Notably: Kangaroo, Blue Gypsy Dream, Sound Gadget, and My Attorney Bernie. I've been teaching private drum lessons for 6 years and I am currently living in London and working on a degree in Political Science and History at UWO. I am working to refine my identity; share love and wisdom with those around me, and contribute to the peaceful amalgamation of history's teleological purposes.

I believe that the concept of death is perhaps the least understood aspect of reality. I am beginning to think that people may have the potential to decide when, where, how, and why they die.

Some inspirations: Socrates, Jesus, Buddha, Ghandi, Einstein, Marley, Edward O. Wilson, Buddy Rich, Billy Martin, Zakir Hussein, Rumi, Kahlil Gibran, everything around me, and all the various people I've known throughout my life--both good and bad.

I hope to make many new friends while maintaining ties with old ones. I gain strength from--and put faith in--myself and the One True God... Love. ~
