The Flow
Ko Chang
Fri, March 9, 2007 - 8:37 PMI met a Thai contact juggling girl in Bangkok who told me to go to Talae, the cheapest least touristy bungalows on the island. It's so beautiful here! The ocean is like a warm bath. There are many coconuts. The sand flies love my flesh. It's 30 degrees by 9 am.
The people are wonderful, the food and accomdations are cheap and it's on the south side of the island... sunset side. People are here to CHILLAX.
I've been hanging out with a Japanese girl named Hiromi. She taught me some Japanese. She had to leave yesterday. There are so many international people here. People think I'm a fair skinned Thai, or Japanese. When I tell them I'm Chinese and from Canada, they find that very exotic (?)
I met a Thai Rastaman in Bangkok named Joey (his Thai name I can't pronounce). We are meeting up next week to go to the tattoo temple. Might get a traditional Thai tattoo from his master there.
Meandering is fun! I have no idea when and where I will be going wherever. I keep hearing about Laos, so I might go there. Chiang Mai looks amazing. I can't wait to spend some time there (I'm studying massage there for a month). Joey is hooking me up with some climbers down south on Phi Phi Island.
This is paradise!
