We met at freshman orientation.
He was oriented differently then...
He glued my mug to my desk once,
and put pencil shaving in my cassette
tapes holders, and dropped me on my head
not once but twice and I had to have
stitches. I still have the scares to prove it....
but I still love him anyway after all these years!

Our first date was interrrupted by a mutual adored friend who happened to by driving by while we were walking to a restaurant in the castro. We were too embarassed to tell him but being a sharp cookie, he caught on halfway through the appetizer and offered to leave.
JJ is one of my all time favorite faerie names and I am insanely jealous that he bought an affordable house & manages to travel so much.
He is a sweetie and has very warm velvety skin. Try it sometime.

I couldn't love you anymore even if you did eat pussy!!!
You are my most treasured friend..I wouldn't just lend out my red gartered-feathered dress to just anybody...only someone who can work it as nastily as I do!!! I love it that you are as naughty as I am and that we can always share our escapades. OK!! you're naughtier!
Just so the rest of you all know it....he's MINE!!!!
I love you Jeff....more than life itself!!!

about me
I have two lives. One lives and works in Portland and up and down the west coast building paradise gardens and mosaics, and the other one travels for 4 months in winter to stay warm and brown, and sane. I love being outside. I love nature. Backpacking and rafting in wilderness are two of my favorite activities. Snorkeling in tropical waters is right up there too. I've spent the last 7 winters in South America, the last 3 of those in Brazil. Colombia is where I'm off to now. I've spent many winters traveling in Asia. I returned to India several times, and traveled extensively throughout S.E. Asia, Sri Lanka and Nepal. It's an amazing world out there.
I have an obsession with stone, and do a great deal of work with beautiful minerals in a variety of forms and colors, mortaring them together to create garden structure that is both organic, metaphorical and cosmic. I also specialize in planting design, with an ever growing knowledge of ornamental plants and how to best use them for extraordinary effect. You can check out my website at www.jeffreygardens.com

Merhaba,
Just rolled back in to Portland town from an entirely edible month in Istanbul and the environs to the south along the Aegean and Mediterranean Coasts. It seems like everything passed through this region in the history of civilization, and they all left something extraordinarily beautiful, including genetics. I have never seen so many beautiful men in my life. Head scarves tend to deglamorize the women but there is great beauty there as well.
After a few days gazing at the B...

Just returned from 10 days on the Vineyard, staying with my friend Brooke Adams. She has summered there for many years and as an accomplished actress, has an extraordinary circle of friends. So Harold Ramis made me an awesome Bloody Mary and we swapped tales of Buddha and Animal House. Lunch with Kate Taylor in her sweet little house on her brother James stunning property was so fine. Carly Simon gave me a tour of her house. Patricia Neal wondered who the hell I am while sitting next to ...

I returned to the Islandwood School this weekend to acid wash the cistern I covered with beach stone a couple of weeks before. Now the colors of the stones shine through. After cleaning and rinsing it I blessed and ornamented the niches with cedar and woodland flowers, shells from the Sound, and candles in small recycled jars. The following night there was a fundraiser dinner that drew a very affluent crowd. Only the children and staff seemed to notice this magical temple mountain. The o...

I just completed a stone art project at the Islandwood Environmental Education School on Bainbridge Island in Washington State. I was asked to cover a concrete Cistern that collects the rain runoff from the roofs of the Learning Center Building on the beautiful forested campus. I taught 8 classes to 4th through 6th Graders in the geology of the Puget Sound region while building a sacred temple mountain reminiscent of Mt. Kailash, the Himalayan Mountain home of the Hindu God Lord Shiva. The...
