Just returned from 10 days on the Vineyard, staying with my friend Brooke Adams. She has summered there for many years and as an accomplished actress, has an extraordinary circle of friends. So Harold Ramis made me an awesome Bloody Mary and we swapped tales of Buddha and Animal House. Lunch with Kate Taylor in her sweet little house on her brother James stunning property was so fine. Carly Simon gave me a tour of her house. Patricia Neal wondered who the hell I am while sitting next to me at a brilliant dance rehearsal. Honor Moore, daughter of the Arch Bishop of the Episcopalian Church of N.Y. commented on what a babe Brooke is. Alan Dershowitz told tales of the Patty Hearst trial. So this little gardener got to take a peek into another world, and it hugged and kissed me and offered me work, so I will hopefully be back and tapping in to it's wealth and beauty. La la la.

Damn it was nice to come home to a house full of peeps I love so much. Portland is heaven in the summer and we live there! Om
