15 hours of Quality instruction from International Middle Eastern Dance Instructor/Performer in Foundation Techniques and Movement Concepts Music Theory, Skills and More.

Saturday 11/17:
10:00am-1:00pm - Drills, Hip Articulations & Isolations
2:00pm-3:30pm - Level 1 Rhythms, Applications & Expressions
3:30pm-6:30pm - Vocabularies, Combos, Texture Sequencing & Morphing

Sunday Nov 18:
10:00am-1:00pm – Combinations,Expressions and Modulations in Baladi
2:00pm -3:30pm – Finger Cymbal Tonal Techniques, Drills, Melody
3:30pm-6:30pm – Adv Combinations and Musical Connections Overiew

7:30-9:00pm – Optional “Amtaz fi Raqs” Certification Testing

Private Lessons available Friday - $50/hour; $40/hour for workshop attendees; $30/hour for Certification Applicants
Attendees do not need to apply for or be a part of Amtaz fi Raqs/Excellence in Dance Certification. Certification participants receive workshop priority for registrations received before 10/19/07. Workshop attendance does not guarantee Certification. Certification Application, Testing and Material is separate from Workshops presented.

(Includes one 30minute private lesson to be scheduled for Friday morning or afternoon)

Prospective Certificants must apply by 10/19 to be considered.

Each Workshop Individually: 3hr workshops: $45 before 10/19; $50 after 10/19; 1.5hr Workshops: $25/$30
