Looking For Sleep
Intertwined with doubt and distractions blaring,
are true visions, that we as people, are forced to untangle.
Like ice water splashed in our face
We are awakened to our needs-
scratching and clawing their way to the trap d...

My Poetry: Nocturnal Emissions
(blog entry)
Of this affection
a feeling is being overtaken by
a dark grey shadow: lust.
One hand at the wheel
on the other hand, a dark devious thought
yearning attention.
Muscular, long form
A sleek aerodynamic perfection, might

Burning Man is Unfolding my Soul
(blog entry)
Well, I am finally doing it. I have been wanting deeply, secretly, wanting to go to Burning Man. 2009 is a year of my evolving, or moving forward, again.
I remember first seeing about Burning Man in the 90's with some "kicker" story at the end ...

"And now I cannot remember how I would
have had it. It is not a conduit (confluence?) but a place.
The place, of movement and an order.
The place of old order.
But the tail end of the movement is new.
Driving us to say what we are thinking.

I would swallow real hard to keep them down
Sometimes when I'm isolated by quakes of cold,

A sleek aerodynamic perfection, might
send you to heaven.
Blankets wrapped thinly
around a disheveled sprawling god like form
wide eyes, so focused.
Modeling clay feel
shapes one’s dream into a rocket, a hammer
smashing the silence.
This cold winter’s night
wall pipes that rumble roughly, ...

I remember first seeing about Burning Man in the 90's with some "kicker" story at the end of one of our newscasts. A "kicker" in broadcast news terminology is a human interest story at the end of the broadcast, usually funny or bizarre like the water skiing squirrel. Anyway, the story fascinated me.
I explored more information, eating...

It is so much like a beach after all, where you stand
and think of going no further.
And it is good when you get to no further.
It is like a reason that picks you up and
places you where you always wanted to be.
This far, it is fair to be crossi...
