This guy truly appreciates the finer things in life.
Whether it be music, beer, or pirate clothes, Jacques has good taste. He has a better understanding of self-discipline and hard work than most darbuka students I've ever taught, but at the same time he's humble and generally easy going. I have volunteered to perform Khoomei at the Pittsburgh Dragon Boat Festival. www.pittsburghdragonboatfestival.org/ It's happening September 20, 2008 - 11:00am to 7:00pm at the South Side Riverfront Park They wan't me to do two 10 minute sets!!! yourinnervagabond.com/globalistajam.html I'll be doing a 15-20 minute set. I'll be performing a suite of minor studies written by Fernando Sor and Mauro Guliani. Should be a very interesting night, with many diverse backgrounds and performers. 
I'm sure my absence on the net and in the real world has been noticed by most everyone by now. The reason for this is simple. I've been working non-stop either at my job or on the new house for several months now. But alas, my endeavours have fallen short.
