I must have seriously missed something, how was it a sudden problem that parking was free on Sunday, like it is throughout the rest of portland?? How does he even think that has anything to do with our fire performance activities?

Right now my class is ending its second week on the phones in training bay. Where I work, your performance is measured by metrics which include things like, average handle time, hold time, transfer rate, etc.. In order to graduate you need to have an average handle time of 9 minutes. If you don't have the 9 minutes average for the days they pull for your graduation stats, you get a writ... read more

Like I am going to write any form of poetry or prose with three hours of sleep. I'll be lucky to get my ass outta this chair in time to throw on some clothes and not be late to work. I need to figure out how to sneak a couple extra hours into the day so I can go to the radio show after the burn. Next week we start on the phones. If I end up gaining 20lbs in a monh, I'm going to be like that one guy. He gained 20lbs in a month and quit because of it. I'll not be having that... read more

It is weird being stuck in a chair all day, but honestly not as bad as I thought it would be. It feels strange going to work in my own clothes and in my own mindset. It's kind of uplifting knowing I can be myself and don't have to put on this masquerade of seriousness and authority with my co-workers since I am not there to police their actions. But I love it. My week was actually quite fantastic. Got off Tuesday morning from work and slept all day, I think about 10 hours. Then I slept more Tuesday night. Wednesday I woke up and practiced spitting fuel, then worked with my staff in the park. My staff whacked my mp3 player and it died.
