LA Cacophony Marathon Pit Stop RECAP

It was short, but sweet. The runners went through well over 4 dozen doughnuts and almost a 30 case of Tecate in 2 hours.

This was my first time. At first, I didn't quite understand the concept, but after seeing the expressions on the runner's faces as we dangled Glazed Donuts and Frosty Beer in front of them, it all became perfectly clear how this is an annual tradition.

We were interviewed by some reporter of the LA Times, and later we were interrupted by some rookie cops for handing out closed container beers to adults only... Overall, I would say it turned out well. I enjoyed hanging out with all nine of you who showed and participated. (Reecy is a wild vixen on the Megaphone!) I also saw someone taking pictures - Please post!

Santa Got Bikes?

(originally posted by santa Zon Er)

The 8th will be the umpteeth monthly Midnight Ridazz - also known as the best and biggest rolling party in the US, if not the World. This month's theme is the All City Toy Ride. Ridazz from all over the city will gather in Downtown LA. An unwrapped gift, valued between $5-$25, is suggested. I'm hoping to introduce some SantaCon regulars to the joys of Midnight Ridazz. I will be decked out in my SantaCon gear and riding from the Northeast LA (NELA) starting point. I'm hoping that some of you Santas would join me. NELA Ridazz will be starting at the Highland Park METRO Red line station (near Mr.T's Bowl) at 9:45PM. This is a late night BIKE RIDE.
