the preliminary: writer, skeptical agnostic, good buddy, big brother, dog-lover.

now the juicy bits:
I love to write, almost as much as I love to talk! though "unpublished" (I prefer the sobriquet amateur, myself), I have written stories since at least the third grade of elementary school. I love to spin a yarn, and on paper it feels a lot more permanent, everlasting, complete.

I love the Net, big netgeek here. Second generation netgeek, I started on a 28 K modem, dial-up and local town provider back in 1997. (not completely old-head, but grizzled enough!)

I have a love-hate thing with God and church. Just can't hack it. Plus preachers frighten me, they have that 'Drink the Kool-Aid" mentality. Maybe it's just orators in general. :)

I live with a caseload of mental health and health problems: diabetes, high blood pressure, being a fatty!
Mood disorder and schizoaffective disorder add that chaotic spice to the mix. it's a day-to-day struggle of Sisyphean disappointment reckoning with my body and mind.

But I am really a nice guy. Not too cheery, but I brighten the lives of my friends and family.

I am a work in progress emotionally.

I believe Music is God and I am the DJ. Music is the one thing that calms me down, brings me joy out of the dark hole of craziness. Hugs are the other.

My dog is my best friend and companion. He helps with my stormy mind.

My Mom, Sis, and Grandparents are my life. I live solely for them and love that fact.

I wish I could go on and on....

p.s. For one, I am really glad tribe is back online. Facebook is great and all, but it's not tribe! 'Nuff said!
