notes from last month's workshop

Here are the notes from the May 15th workshop. If anyone has any questions, let me know.

Combination 1
-2 hip bumps travelling to the right. Arms are in an L shape framing the working hip.
Step behind with the left foot bringing your arms together (one on top of the other) in the front.
-3 step turn to the left starting with the left foot
-end the turn by stepping with the left foot and contracting the pelvis
-pose on the ball of the left foot and begin the combination again with hip bumps to the left

Combination 2
-8 count drop kick wrapping one arm around midsection and on arm over head.
(if the right leg is doing the drop kicks, then the right arm wraps around the midsections)
-lunge to the right (if drop kicks are with the right leg) reaching with the right arm and bringing the left
arm down to your side. Return from lunge with a right arm shoulder shimmy.

Combination 3
-2 travelling downward undultions facing the side (arms form an L with pits away from
the audience), end facing the back
-8 count omi with level change (optional lotus hands above head)
-repeat 2 travalleling undulations facing the side, travelling in the opposite direction you started.

Combination 4
-2 mayas w/ a drop at the end
-place one foot in front of the other and unwind (corkscrew turn) to face the back, pushing
down w/ the arms
-coffee grinder(simultaneous chest circle and omi) to each diagonal
