A Belly dancer and teacher in the Midwest, and owner of World Fusion Dance Studio! It is my soul, and through creation of the art I am able to channel the chaos that is inside of me. Performing, to me, is like presenting parts of my soul to others in technicolor. I am inspired and fascinated by ancient cultures and strong women. Thunderstorms make me happy and everyday is Halloween. I like candy, almost to the point of obsession. I am a big fan of art and artistic expression, especially decorations of the temple body, ie tattoos, body modification and scars. I put the mental in "sentimental" and get easily distracted by shiny things. One part geek, two parts dork, with a smidge of nerd thrown in for excitement. I've traveled all over the US and couch surfed most of it.

Things are great! I am looking forward to a drama free New Year! Lots happened in 2008! I became a momma on Sept 11th to a beautiful baby girl! Lilith Evelyn (6lbs 14oz 21.5 in) She barely looks like the same baby, and growing so fast! Studio is moving along, new students each semester, so I can't complain! Yesterday our studio was featured in the local newspaper (Yay!) www.journalgazette.net/apps/p...article Unfortunetly ignorance is rampant all over and a local radio station descided to take it upon themselves to point out the fact that "Fat women shouldn't belly dance". Getting the studio ready was a lot of work, I don't think I would have made the opening date of Aug 25 had I not had a little help from my friends. Sayra and Sunshine, you ladies rock my world! I may not be the smartest woman in the world, not the most organized or even the best dancer. The one thing that I am is passionate. About life, and especially about dance. When Zweena left I jumped into belly dance head first without even looking.
