How much attention...
should my daughter get from me?

So, I work at home. I do medical transcriptions, and I sit and listen to doctors talk, and type. So, needless to say that I cant play Barbie doll or tag or read Aimée a story while I work. I am paid by the line, therefore each second I spend not talking equals an extra second of work later to make the amount of money I want/need.

For my birthday I got....
Time from all of the people I love and care about. I am so surprised at the attention.. I am so greatful for the friends I have. My resolution this year.. (okay so I normally never make any but..) is going to be this. I am going to take care of myself, I am going to use my nice china and crystals, and nice tea set and stuff... and I am going to attempt to allow myself to be loved and cared for the way I love and care for others. Sounds simple? Heh!

xmas depression
Yea yea, I wasnt going to tarnish anyone's xmas with negative thoughts. Thank goodness for Aimee's bright smile and enthousiasm, and for a few good friends to keep my mind off things, but yea, I am depressed.

I am certainly not a materialistic person, and I believe the best presents come from intentions and good thougths. What did I get for xmas this year? A super sweet xmas ornament that Aimee made at school which was the best, and some moments with friends I am greatful for. From hu... read more
