I don't know for how long I have been talking about wanting to go to the old Oakland train station to take some photos, probably since I saw it for the first time when the old/new cypress freeway reopened. Slipping through a hole in the fence at sunset, we managed to get some beautifully lit shots allowing us to see the old in a beautiful new way. On Saturday night I found out that my friend Molly had gone missing and was assumed dead after having she attempted to rescue her dog who had been caught and dragged under by a wave on Portuguese Beach near Anchor Bay (Sonoma County). Molly had wanted to spend a nice and peaceful weekend in Anchor Bay in an effort to try and escape the enormous stress she had had in her life during the last couple of months.

I sent you an email today. It was the story of a man who had three weeks to live. He was telling his story on how to deal with life rather than death, so there would be no regrets, so we could fulfill our dreams, so we could be there for those that matter most. Not thinks, not money...people.
