Never did I ever think I would meet someone with a sense of humor more interesting than someone else I know. I thought I was twisted. I think we do this to keep "them" at bay. I honestly look forward to the mornings when he's there and I smile as I pretend I am passed out only becasue I know it's him because of the sound of his shoes. To know him is to smile!

Talented man, with ears for miles and a twisted sense of reality that I really love. He acts like he hates everybody but deep down he's one of the best people I've ever met. :)

As in real Dark (blog entry) Studio scoreboard for creepiest client ever:
A guy comes in the store and asks me if I have a way to clean up audio. I tell him that I’ve got some restoration plug-ins and for a nominal fee, I’ll do some work for him. About three weeks later, he ... read more

Too hot, too hot ba-bae (blog entry) I want this thing in very unsettling ways...
The internal temp of my main digital audio workstation is making work on the Mo’Beats project a real f’ed up experience. So I’ve been fighting with that pc in hope of getting through my “denormalizatio... read more

Pyrric times (blog entry) Spent a half an hour try to sell recording gear to a guy with earplugs in. Big ol' green ones, the squishy industrial safety kind.
Clearly I'm being punished for all the drunken nights of bad intonation.
Ps-Don't get excited. It’s a photo of an ... read more

"A-huh a-huh!"

SHAG was a funk/rock group that I toured with from 1993-1998. It was a great band and an amazing experiance. Our first cd was recorded live by none other than the legendary Bootsy Collins (bassist/writer/producer for groups like James Brown, Parliment/Funkadelic, Zapp and Roger, Dee Lite, Snoop Dogg as well as a longstanding collaboration with Norman "Fatboy Slim" Cook). We shared the stage with a number of notable groups, like Kidd Rock, a Tribe Called Quest, Bootsy's Rubber Band, Poe, Georg... read more

I only post this because I’ve had to logon three times in the last ten minutes. Maybe its nothing. I was trying to keep the tone of the “Please Move Ads” tribe positive and proactive, but maybe “Da Man” is pissed.

Hopefully we’ll look back on this post and laugh.

A guy comes in the store and asks me if I have a way to clean up audio. I tell him that I’ve got some restoration plug-ins and for a nominal fee, I’ll do some work for him. About three weeks later, he comes back with the little hand-held digital recorder. He tells me he has a conversation that was recorded in a car, but it is partially unintelligible. The story is that his wife has been cheating on him, and he planted the recorder in the car befor... read more
