My Testimonials

July 12, 2005
Jason is one of the sweetest, most talented poets I know. His poetry will haunt you with its depth and implore you to search your soul. He's a very good friend to have. A friendship that will be cherished for a long time to come. Hope you will forever find your Muse, Jason!

What can I say about Jason?

Jason has a tender heart. One that bruises easily, yet somehow remains hopeful. Though warm and sensitive, he can turn to a block of ice in the blink of an eye if you pluck the wrong string. Fortunately, he melts like butter and is pliable as putty with the slightest manipulation. He is an unfortunate slave to his muse - a cruel and demanding bitch! (The Muse, not Jason... although sometimes...) Just kidding, Jay.

He wears his heart on his sleeve, which leaves it vulnerable to snags and snares. But once again, his Muse, the bitch, requires that he leave it there, and that it remain forever un-tethered.

Consequently, Jason is a state of perpetual heartbreak, which makes him either an ideal poet or a country song writer, except Jason sucks at writing songs (sorry, Jay), a fact he will surely confirm.

So poetry is his passion. I really admire his work. He knows I'm one of his toughest critics, as well as his biggest fan. I'm very grateful to have him in my life. Here's to you, Jay. Live long and prosper, mkay?
