Radical Self-Reliance

People say Burning Man is about "Radical Self-Reliance." I beg to differ. Just because you have to bring shelter, warm clothes and enough food and water for a week does not mean you are relying on yourself. Besides that though, I'm wondering what this world has come to when packaged food in the grocery store ONLY comes with microwave instructions. What is that? Is that really where we are? I guess so. That's sad. And I thought Trader Joe's was one of the better food stores.

Sometimes life is simply just going well. I often find when I write it's cuz shit's all messed up and I have to clear my head. But I'm happy to write life is going good. New job-new house-a couple new crushes-new wetsuit for surfing-lots of sunshine. Don't be afraid to ask for what you want.

I posted a blog a few weeks ago about how completely stuck I felt in my life. Many of you responded and made me feel more sane. For that, I thank you.
