about me
I'm too busy in my job and I don't care as much about it as I used to. I reduced my work hours to 4 days a week to have more time for art work, but I'm still too busy to find quality art time! Maybe I need to reduce my work hours even further...?
The busy job keeps me from focusing on art and sports as much as I like to... I've been told I can be pretty darn funny (translation: weird? ;) )

I just updated my art web site and the JumpingPeanut is back!!! The JumpingPeanut is the little cafepress store attached to my art site, of course, and it contains a small but find selection of shirts, mugs and cards: www.cafepress.com/jumpingpeanut

Besides that there is some more exciting news: In June I will exhibit some of my paintings at the Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company. The paintings will be there for the entire month starting from "whenever I get to putting them up" till... read more
I wanted to make a shirt design for cafepress' "anti-valentine" contest. Probably I was too tired to be very creative. The route I went is a sappy, super kitschy "fuzzy valentine" shirt. It's so kitschy it should count as an anti valentine's thing. But then I bet there are people who might buy it. Well, here is the link. Let me know what you think... Time to go to bed *yawn*

Great news! The print I donated to the annual benefit auction for WorksSanJose (see 2 postings ago) has sold. It actually ended up being lot #1 in the auction (which is always tough) but it did sell. Unfortunately (for Works and for the artists) a lot of other pieces didn't :(

In any case, this gives me some very useful feedback. Once somebody is willing to spend money on your are that IS actually meaningful. Of course an artist always appreciates it when people say how much they love your w... read more
For quite a while I was planning to start a blog with user interface and design oddities that bug me. Talk about them, ridicule them, analyze them, learn from them. So far there isn't too much there yet, but it will grow. Have a look at:
