Raking in Saxapahaw

I was looking through old photos and noticed this old one. I think I resonated with it today because it exemplifies the scope of my current project, Hoop Convergence, in its magnitude and a feeling of the delightful satisfaction that accompanies a difficult project. Although you can't see it, I have raked the front yard already (with Scott's help:-) I remember the excitement about taking on the huge side yard of our home, knowing that my arms and hands were going to be hella sore when I finished, but that it would be awesome anyways.

I am very thankful to all the assistance and support with Hoop Convergence ~ from Caroleeena, Ali, Revolva, Spiral, Greg (see the badass logo!) The culmination of this event is going to be SO MUCH cooler than a leafless yard!

Holy Saxapahaw -- that's quite a convergence of leaves! If you can rake all that, I'm glad you are at the helm of HC. ;)
