Miss J is hot and sparkly and sexy and funny and creative and smart and cute-as-a-freakin-button. AND she's an initiated member of a certain imaginary kickass girls' motorcycle-and-debauchery gang...

A creative and fun loving top!
She won Audience Choice Award at the Iron Domme competition! Everyone was rooting for her since she's so cool and fabulous! You go girl! And can't wait till the next time we get to play! (And she happens to be married to a hottie!) Kinnari November 16, 2007
WILD…O.K. wild yet civilized at it’s absolute best. CRAZY, O.K, not really bonkers, but more like the way we all fantasize it in our dreams; STERN, oh ma’am, please, if I stand up straight, may I try that again? PERFECT, Yes, I adore this woman; she epitomizes evolved humanistic perfection in all its glory.

Serious ass kicking soft kissing whip throwing magic pretending to be an occasionally demure and magical being. More stability and sanity than I'm used to seeing in my worlds. There are many things I'll likely never know about this woman, but the moments that I've shared have not only been joyous, but educational and enticing.
Now if we could just clone her so hangovers werent an issue :) May 5, 2005
There are many wonderful things in this world. Sights, sounds, places, and people who take your breath away, and make you a better person for having experiencd them. Juliana blows them all away by many orders of magnitude. Life with her is an adventure, and a constant reminder that there is a divine creative force with a plan. To say I love her is woefully inadequate. To say I am lucky she is in my life pales by comparison to the truth of just how FRIGGIN SUPER KEWLERIFIC SHE IS!! I may be biased since she is my life companion, my soulmate, my friend, and my wife, but I am also not wrong.

My oh My oh My....
Julianna is one loud funk sweet bopping hot lick sparkle queen She shakes my groove and bangs my drum She makes the stars shine brighter, and moon fatter The very fact that she exists in the universe makes everything better! And me, yes little 'ol me get's to call her friend! Mwahahahahaha, I have to go give myself a little gold star! oh, and thank all the gods and goddesses that they decided to make her in my lifetime.

Finished making my first relief print block print in a long time today. Forgotten how long they take to carve. Got the classic gash in my finger, blood on the block. Typical. But the image looks great.

I'm excited about the series I'm planning. About getting down to it and more time in my studio. It feels good. (those aren't my hands. Mine have a big band aid right now)
OK go here and click on the video. This is so brilliant I almost peed. Wish he would come to SF goddammit.

And then, there were ants. Lots of them. I tried the little trail of sugar out the door and onto the roof. They dined and wandered right back in. I think one of them burped in my ear. Then I tried washing every surface and dish. They made a home in the garbage. I bleached out the can and vacuumed every last one of them up (hah-hah!!!) And yet...they found their way to the cabinets and gathered on the honey jar. I bellowed - Thats it!! Not my hone... read more
Another all-nighter, and I didn't even notice. I was just trying to get all this creative stuff done, and suddenly it was morning.. I am so nocturnal at this point, it's kind of ridiculous. Doesn't matter if I get up in the morning, I still feel most alive at night. Makes it hard to match with folks on the regular business schedule, however...

My invented stations are Nino Rota (dreamy, the best!), Cibo Matto plus Betty Serveert (trip hop with a bit of sweetness and eclectic stuff), Brick House and Grit (David Bowie, Tom Waits, PJ Harvey, Siouxsie, Nick Cave, White Stripe and others combined). and folk (Sonya Hunter plus early Joni Mitchell). I learned about 20 new bands I'd n... read more
OK so I went to this really great birthday costume party - the idea was to come as a rocker. I even played a gamer-game, which I've never done (it was a rock/sing/drum etc game, basically karaoke on steroids, I sang 'Black Hole Sun' with someone dressed as Courtney Love, we were actually pretty good). And I met a very polite cowboy who... but that's getting off the subject. The tragic thing was only two people at the party knew who I was supposed to be. Now, it would be fine if my costume su...

OK so we've never had a real stereo, just cheapo boomboxes and all-in-one thingies, and I think it's time to graduate to a real one. I'm one of those crazies that still believes records sounded better (I'm convinced they did even on the cheap little open-and-play turntable I used to have) but I also have an ipod and cds and want to listen to internet radio. So what can I get that would sound good and not kill my wallet?

I have some beautiful pieces from my grandmother...of fragile bone-colored silk, intricate lace, and crepe -- from the 1920s and 30s. I also have a dress from 1910 made of beautiful black stripes of rough and shiny silk...all of them have rips, some very big, some small, and will simply fall to pieces if I wear them.

I know that a lot of that idealism is gone now, but I've got this little tickle, like maybe things could really change, I mean drastically change, with someone with a vision, who's not afraid to try to be an idealist. Maybe Obama could really transform America to the true democracy it once stood for. What if it could really happen?

In 2008 I will spend much more of each day fully engaged in the challenging things that I truly want and need to do, from the core of me, and much less of each day mulling things over, being fearful (procrastinating), or second-guessing what I've already done.

"Loving, first, loving and gentle...then courteous -- courteous to all, high or low, grand or grotesque, King or caterpillar, even as though she were herself a king's daughter, and her clothing wrought gold: then trustful, ready to accept the wildest impossibilities with all that utter trust that only dreamers know; and lastly, curious -- wildly curious, and with the eager enjoyment of Life that comes only in the happy hours of childhood, when all is new and fair, and when Sin and Sorrow are ...

I had interesting conversations with several people this week about women - in the queer community, the straight community, and in various kinds of partnerships. It has got me thinking about some of the powerful things that happen when women who could find reasons to divide or compete instead join and support and learn from one another, and the kind of empowerment that it creates for everyone. It is an activity that goes against the media-dictated norm, and that also involves faith and fear...

This is the first costume that I created that when I saw it in the mirror, I actually scared myself. My friends didn't even recognize me. It was fun but also almost too creepy. I think in the future I will save it just for the Day of the Dead celebration.

My first ride on a Float for Pride...jeepers that was FUN! Our float was covered with giant flowers and we were sitting on a (very wide) white picket fence (fencesitters, get it?), all of us bi-gals with parasols and corsets and ruffles. The best part was people would see our float coming and just go crazy.... light up and start cheering (and we would scream back - I'm very hoarse now). Things have gotten so much more bi-positive than when I first came to SF. Thank you Amy Kitty , fabulous Ma...
