I can't believe I never thought to do this until now!!!
Julie/Desiree is an amazing person! She is so organized and thorough!!!! And so dedicated to belly dance it's amazing! She is an amazing force in the L.A. belly dance community! Julie is a blazing star!!! But I must say my favorite thing about Julie...is when she is just a pirate at pirate faire...ARRRRRR!!!! June 25, 2007

Julie is one of the BEST people I know.
AND,...the gal I have to thank for getting me into TRIBAL,..(do I thank her or kick her butt???HMM!) ha! Doing all she does for our dance group & beyond (Tribal Caravan, etc.) I dont know how she gets any sleep,..that explains the 5 cases of red bull in her vehicle! haha Honesltly,..she's a great lady and a true friend & a great dancer to boot! hello, is this on?
You may have seen this famous photo showing a firefighter giving water to "Sam" the koala as she holds his hand. The firefighter found Sam walking painfully on scorched paws along the smoldering forest floor. Sam was rushed to the Southern Ash Wildlife Shelter, a group IFAW is supporting with an emergency grant.

The Gorilla Park Headquarters in DR Congo is still held by the rebels. They spent the night there and vandalized the buildings by busting down doors and stealing. The 50+ Rangers who fled yesterday from the fighting spent the night in the forest with no food, or shelter, or water. The situation is now desperate.
