to all the boys i've loved before, that traveled in and out my door. This one forever is a guest of honor in my internal palace.

Joe is one of the best alumni you could ever hope to run into in the desert when you need help. Warm and inviting, he is cozy, generous, friendly, hilarious, grateful, and sometimes just goofy. He is an expert bumbler who loves hockey, Lithuania, and movies. His kindness is reflected in the strength of the relationships he has with those around him. He genuinely believes in goodness and this will positively affect anyone in his presence. Joe is lovable!

about me
About Me:
I work my butt off a little more than 2/3 of the year and
then FULLY enjoy my time off... I think that humanity
has gotten ahead of itself technologically. If we were
truly ready on a spiritual level to harness nuclear
power, burning fossil fuels and bio/nanotechnologies,
we'd have a much brighter world. But I also think that
our exponential leap in technology has set off an
evolutionary reaction that is manifesting in many sub-
cultures throughout the world. The speed of
communication is allowing for an exchange of
information never before seen on the planet. The
question becomes: can we as a species grow up
before we destroy ourselves? All we have to do is let
go of our (dominating western culture's) fears and
sense of lack( that is bombarded onto every one of us
every time we see an advertisement for another product
we don't really need.) I've met literally thousands of
people who give me hope. The technology to live
sustainably already exists. There simply needs to be a
critical mass of people on this planet who want it and
are willing to do little work for it. Don't live to work, work
to live! You control your own reality. Why not worry a bit
less about $/not having enough and examine what it is
you can do to help out your fellow man, or our quickly
vanishing natural world. This world is fleeting. If you
like it, do what you can to preserve it for your great-
grandkids. Enjoy the moment while you're there, but
don't hang on to it. But then again, these are just my
feelings. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Peace :)

In so far as social networking sites go, I used to love tribe. But then it stopped working for a while. I got annoyed and joined the bandwagon of facebook etc/

I now realize that tribe was a much better vehicle for more meaningful conversation and discussion of various topics amongst friends and strangers.

Anyone else feeling the same thing? Want to re-migrate back to the tribal lands?

This past weekend, I went out to experience the lovely collaborative
efforts of Terrakroma and Greensector out in the desert. It was quite
lovely. I was delighted to see many smiling faces, wonderful music
throughout the day and the night, exceptionally beautiful deco and of
course the expansiveness that one can only find out under the stars.

Unfortunately they didn't get that many heads out there and I've heard
that they lost a good deal of the money that they invested in bringing
