No Playa?

After 6 in a row, feeling good about taking a year off. To all the lovely kids not headed to the playa this year in LA... What's shaking Labor Day Weekend?

Much love,

Joe

want to check out a movie I worked on?

"What Love Is" starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Anne Heche came out on video last week. Would love to hear what you think about it.

Big surprise

Ever wonder about the reps in wash? Think they are looking out for you?

I know I have... if this is what they are up to historically, then how in the world can one make the assumption that they have changed now?

Amazing how the universe functions

The project that I am working on is being partially funded by Richard Branson, who owns Virgin Airlines. I was to have left for India on Sunday Jan 6th, but the trip was canceled due to the fact that Virgin Airlines is going on strike; since the tix were freebies, they won't put us onto another airline. The irony here is intriguing to ponder.

On the positive side, we are still going to get the interviews. I'll be meeting up with the Dalai lama sometime in late Feb or March when he is going to be in Chicago (yay, get to see my family) and are working on working something out for the head of the IPCC.

Not going to India, but taking it in stride.

Much love,

Joe

Amazing blessings and a call for input

Greetings!

I hope that you had a lovely holiday thus far.

I have recently found out that I will be flying to India Jan 6th to interview the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change chair, Rajendra Pachauri and the Dalai Lama on their views on what shifts are needed for humanity to come into a symbiotic, sustainable relationship with our mother earth.

If any of you have any questions that you are feeling drawn to put out there on this subject, I'd love to hear them and pass them along to either of my interviewees.

I am very excited and a tad intimidated by the prospect of working on this film.

I aim to make it as solution oriented and practical as possible.

Lots of love to you and yours,

Joe

the path of light and love

It is intriguing for me to observe how the resonance and vibration of love exists within. It is all about surrender and compassion. When one has no designs on the outcome of things and simply exists, a blissful and divinely connected space becomes possible.

Everything is perfect just as it is.

Crazy as that may sound with the world having all of the issues that it does at present, it is truly the feeling I am finding in my heart. I have felt a direct presence of the divine and have faith that all is as it should be. Now that doesn't mean not to try to transform things for the better. It simply means that the best way I'm finding to transform the external is via work on the internal. If a critical mass of people were to take up this train of thought simultaneously would a true change occur? Would people respect each other more?

Obviously we are in dire need of a shift in our interaction with nature.

Ahh, the random musings and tangents that the mind meanders through when it first awakens to a new day...

Hope that you are having a lovely day!

Cheers from Louisiana, hopefully I'll be back in Topanga soon. I am missing all of you.

Lots of love,

Joe

Reflection

Alone.

I am two days into the void now. I'm alone in the bayou. Actually it is more suburbia these days.

Louisiana is interesting. It is making me so introspective. I'm in the calm before the storm. About to start working 12+ hours a day, 6 days a week for the next 5 weeks.

Definitely missing my friends and family back home. This is really good for me though. It is making me aware of how much I have. I am so appreciative of each and every one in my life.

Lots of love

love spreading

Love said to me...

A sweet soul in my life has shared this little gifting ritual with me.

The deal is that the first three people to respond to this post in the comments will also put the same post up on their tribe blog.

I will send each one of those people something I think they might like... a little gift from me.

Share this in your own way.

Spread the love...
