My Testimonials

July 25, 2005
One of the things I love most about David is his positive nature. It's very refreshing to be around people like him, especially in these times. Intelligent and amusing, he's a great friend to have.

I have seen the spirit around David. It's bright and colorful and spreads to everyone in the room. Within him is a force that I cannot explain. It's a feeling, an emotion unto itself. I am fortunate to have shared this power.

Thank you, David.

David is about the most genuine person you will ever know. He carries inside him a deep wisdom behind those intense, playful eyes...they will catch you by surprise. David is the big brother I always wanted, he is my friend, he is family. He will always be there for you because he's just cool like that. I am happy he has found someone just as special as he is to share in this journey called life. His is a unique breed of magic. Any person that has been touched by his light knows he or she has been blessed. A kindred spirit indeed is he, one who means the world to me...more than I could possibly say. Much love to you big brother! U hear that!? Rock on & Peace out!

you can do nifty stuff with it like changing the format so 'date +%Y_%m_%d' comes out like '2008_02_27'
you can also get dates in the past like this 'date --date="30 days ago" +%Y_%m_%d' comes out as '2008_01_28'
you can use words like yesterday, tomorrow, +/-10 [days, months, years] blah blah blah
on the mac (10.5.2 currenly) it doesn't work like that and I have had problems finding the correct way ... read more
