On Oct. 31, I had to do the hardest thing I've ever done in my entire life. I had to put my cat, who was more like my child, to sleep. He had bone cancer and I would never have allowed him to suffer even for a moment. His name was Squee and he was a black Oriental Shorthair w/ emerald eyes. I had him for too short a time, 6 years and to lose him has been devestating. I had him cremated and his ashes sit in a box next to where I sleep. Those friends of mine who had the pleasure of getting to know him, I know, understand the deep loss of this magical cat. I will love him always and keep him in my heart.
