</a>
										<div>I beg you, please do not ever buy a Yamaha product. You have been forewarned! Rarely have I encountered such arrogance and distain for being a loyal customer of a company (I own mixers, keyboards, speakers, guitars). Bought a new piece of gear for hundreds of dollars, Yamaha's required firmware patch fried it. They said sorry it would cost to much for us to repair it, but we'll sell you another one for hundreds more with no option for repairs if it breaks too. No apology, no sense of responsibility. I was told that my expectations of the company were exaggerated. Jaw dropping stuff.</div>

										<div>John sat and thought. How long would this be? All the dustbin times he’d sat and wonder'd, looking, as the sand swirled. “Time is not my friend” hummed softly through his head. To be living, to be dead. Not meaning to, he had discovered something strange. Unable to predict the outcome, unseen by his hand, so much on his hands and in his name. John you see, is God. If you understand the fundamental aspects of the universe, it does not predict thought. These micro patterns of vibration forming what we weakly experience as states. From particle to cell to neuron to what to eat for lunch. Perhaps thought is a side effect? A perception like color while the reality is simply the absorption or reflection of energy at different vibrations. Vibrations again. Humm, he thought. All I did was pause and think and breathe into, and all this as a result? The setting in motion and with each counter motion the distilling of the ether until…”thunk”! Solid matter, a slowing down, coalescence. How odd. Sitting on a milk crate John continued to watch the sun set over a hill with the razors edge of a shadow approaching. It’s all a matter of perspective so easily self centered. I will be in shadow and someone just a few feet away working on car will still feel the warm metal in their hands. Is it time to go? Have I been here for long? Did I sing the right song? Putting so much on why I am important and you are not, sometimes as an indirect matter and sometimes a fist in a face or worse. The universe is what it is no matter how you frame it with the vibrations of the wind—words. Scratch lines in the surface to validate but in the end your fate is the same. Crawling on some onion skin. Layers, little layers of structure and under the right conditions life. A complex structure sandwiched between others hard or thin. From the subtle to the gross, literally. Staring down the well of a microsope to the smallest of structures or a telescope to the largest of structures. Can it be said, we think in the middle? Is it a sideways glance guiding the system at times? A phone ringing, should I pick up? I don’t want to pick up. I am creating. I did not mean to. Something came over me like a door opening and words began to fall through. Spilling and tumbling into shapes, clips from old newspaper clippings sending the fingers dancing. It’s now 7pm. Time to rest. Time to sing a new song. KD 22SEP09 The Accidental Creator - John sat and thought. How long would this be? <div>hung with ol friends Kyu, Michelle, Kat, Brian N, Mike D, connecting seeing where I am what i'm doing, pondering the shifts and layers of selfhood to bring simplification to the next step, tossing aside more stuff to have clarity and foundation. a resting place from so much change, feelign the balance, the happy-ness inside of being here now more basic and common than ever in a simplicity and depth of focus. no big mission/vision for once. just the basics. back to them. seeing it from the outside of what i've done. a bliss of normality, back from the edges of something that smells of therapy with no exit. here now breathing, relaxing, no pressure, joy in life.

writing a new book chapter, with new peeps, new focus on what is in hand from item 1. family 3. basic living, work/career, 2. my gal 1:1 n no one else 4. hobby singing, 5. financial stuffs, 6. play time. Nuf! out goes this, out goes that, somethings already long gone others just making it out the door. detangle the path towards arriving here, cut threads, clear the landscape for living fully in what i've built. share it in fun and not work. it's been interesting enough already. how do the other people live? coming back from these alternative spaces i find a balance and serenity in the common things that stress folks. had to orbit with Pluto to get perspective and balance before coming back down to earth.

Bizt@zap! waves upon a shore, relax now, listen, listen deeper, past the fear, past the hurt, past the tangled wires, you'll hear the calm of being here, alignment with the deepest self. no symbols, no masks, no secrets, no effort.</div>

										<div>I got out of the apartment and sang. It felt great to be back with my peeps. As usual met new and interesting folks as the night went on. Did back up with Brian on She Blinded Me With Science which was a blast. I opened the night with Solitary Man and Hurt, then Running Up That Hill and was brave enough to sing Closer (packed the dance floor actually with beautiful 20 somethings to my surprise). Finished off with the classic Tubthumping trio set.

Also did back up here and there on a few other tracks, Tyronne was in superstar mode doing tracks that did not have clear backups so no play time there but got to bask in his amazing (and many other's) performances. Always nice.

Voice a bit slow waking up this morning but the cold is on the way out the door!</div>

    </a>
										<div>Actually, to stop the launch of two missles on the island of Alameda. The island was mountainous, kinda like San Franciso meets Tiburon. A highly populated high density built up old city like Siena in Italy meets old town Paris. Spent the night before out with the boys partying at the local bar/disco place--which got out of hand. Then rambled back for hair of the dog the next morning.

To work it off, I rambled about the old city visiting favorite places and shops. As usual with me, my eyes soak up the archetecture, I love the inside of the huge red marble
building. Saw Ms.P there and she pointed out a priest's hole.

The archetecture is way too Norman for her tastes. The old Paramount theatre was open again and some shops had great store fronts. I also looked at houses after all that...

What numbers do I put into the machine? Two machines with counters like old gas pumps built like 1950s industrialware. Have to push the buttons to scroll the numbers to the right deactiavtion codes. See, feel, hear, taste everything. The dust on the metal the temp of the air. I found an old reporter pad with a list of numbers that match functions. What if I get it wrong? What if I do nothing? The missles are set to target where they launched. Called mum and left a message of good bye.

Bob's come back around and has an idea, cut all the wires from the machine. Maybe the old missles do not have onboard computers like they do now. Worth a try.

In a separate dream on the same set -- fictional Alameda. I had hitched a ride on my way home and ended up on the other side of a mountain from home. chatting as I do, I wasn't paying attention. Went inside the guys house to hang out but while in the back room found he was a murderer (bodies). I paniced and fled...

Our craft was downed, but we landed in a field beyond a grassy hill so we got out be for They saw us. I think we will be safe hiding out in suburbia...

...hiking in the rocky hills where the trails break off from
the roads, the contrast of asphalt and stone, clean lines and fragments. Clear skys with some high clouds.

I woke up not knowing if the missles launched or not, the panic of all the guesses and the second guesses was gone. Just me happy to be home warm in bed surrounded by the signs of music and singing.</div>

										<div>Bummed, it's the big night at the DownLow and I will not be going. It gives me time to stop and reflect on how much singing I've been doing. The most since leaving Choir in 1988! <div>Nobody's Diary was a great test of my ongoing vocal training as it spans some tricky notes. Cars went over very well later in the evening.

Got to do back up on Shot Through the Heart and duet on 99 Red Balloons with Tyronne.

Brian and I did Love My Way but not sure that worked, we cleared the dance floor, uh, and that was after folks came out to dance to that song!

Love Will Tear Us Apart was a nice rest for my low voice since this is a natural range for me. Folks really enjoyed it even tho' I feared it would be a bummer.</div>

										<div>Thursday was early night at Mel-O-Dee which lead to a much more chillin' evening with Standards more common than rockers. My dental hygienist and her mum showed up and Brian asked if we could sing for her. She wanted Lady in Red -- that was a bit of a lead balloon! It was a night to experiment and take risks tho' and with few peeps the rotation was great.

I did Call Me Irresponsible, Mirror Man, Cracklin Rosie, Sweet Caroline, What I Like About You, Mony Mony, and then Backup with Brian on Come As You Are and one other with a regular, tho' I am forgetting the song. I love that places' atmosphere and design. People are super friendly and I got to know some more peeps with fun and amazing voices.
