I received my yoga teacher certification at the prestigious White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California in the Vinyasa style. I have been practicing yoga for over fifteen years and teaching since 2000. I have been trained in a variety of yoga styles including; Vinyasa, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Power Yoga and Yin Yoga. Through intensives and workshops I have personally worked with Paul Grilly, Doug Swenson, John Friend, Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, David Life, Sharon Gannon and Dharma Mittra.
I also have been a practitioner and instructor of Pilates, Martial Arts (Nevada state champion in 1988 & 1990) and Belly Dance. I have been performing belly dance professionally since 1993 and has been teaching since 2003. While living in San Francisco I studied the folkloric style of Raks Sharki (belly dance) with Janine Ryle of Hahbi'Ru. Under the direction of Janine Ryle, I was in the troop Danse Maghreb with the renowned Ariellah. Also, while living in San Francisco, I took classical Egyptian Belly Dance classes from the legendary Magana Baptiste, director and founder of the San Francisco Royal Academy of Oriental Dance. I also took Belly Dance classes from Rachal Brice of Belly Dance Superstars and The Indigo.

I am happily married for 15 years I have one son, a dog named Schooby and a cat named Louis.
