</a>
<div>I, for one, will NOT live in a country that would be stupid enough, lazy enough, indifferent enough or self-centered enough to cause a 3rd Bush term through McCain. I will not. If more people don't start paying attention and getting into action, that's exactly what THEY are going to get. That won't be my lot because I'm already laying the groundwork to get out of dodge should that occur. I was already on my way out until Obama decided to run and I started paying attention. So, I'm doing what I can to get Obama elected, but if he doesn't, bye bye USA, and good luck . :-)

AND, I'm SUPER grateful to all the people across the country who ARE in action. I need to start focusing more of my energy on them and not on the people who aren't.

OBAMA STALLS IN PUBLIC POLLING

In the two months since Barack Obama captured the Democratic nomination, he has hit a ceiling in public opinion polling, proving unable to make significant gains with any segment of the national electorate.

While Obama still leads in most matchups with John McCain, the Illinois senator’s apparent stall in the polls is a sobering reminder to Democrats intoxicated with his campaign’s promises to expand the electoral map beyond the boundaries that have constrained other recent party nominees.

That gap between expectations and reality comes as Democrats enjoy the most favorable political winds since at least 1976. At least eight in ten Americans believe the nation is on the wrong track. The Republican president is historically unpopular. From stunning Democratic gains in party registration to the high levels of economic anxiety, Obama should have a healthy lead by almost every measure. Yet, in poll after poll, Obama conspicuously fails to cross the 50-percent threshold.

ABC News Polling Director Gary Langer asked, “If everything is so good for Barack Obama, why isn’t everything so good for Barack Obama?”

Obama remains ahead, depending on the national poll, by low to high single digits. The Gallup Poll Daily tracking survey, which randomly interviews at least 1,000 voters each day, has recently found that Obama leads by 3 to 4 percentage points.

In the first full week of the general election, June 9-15, Obama led by between 2 and 7 percentage points. Just short of two months later, registered voters have not significantly shifted their views, as Gallup finds public opinion still fluctuating between roughly the same margins.

“What’s remarkable this summer is the stability of this race,” Gallup’s director Frank Newport said. “In a broad sense, it is similar to previous elections.”

In Gallup’s last national poll prior to the 2004 party conventions, for example, John F. Kerry led President George W. Bush 47 percent to 43 percent. In 2000, also in Gallup’s last national poll prior to the party conventions, Bush led former Vice President Al Gore 46 percent to 41 percent.

Three demographic groups have generally kept Obama ahead in the past two months: African-Americans, youth and Hispanics. But a lead based on those groups is a tenuous one. The youth vote, notorious for not meeting expectations, must turn out in significantly higher numbers than in past elections. Obama must continue to win the black vote nearly unanimously and still turn out new African-American voters. McCain must continue to underperform with Hispanics by about 10 percentage points compared to Bush in the summer of 2004.

McCain might also be said to have hit a ceiling himself. At best, he has statistically tied Obama for fleeting periods this summer.

Yet in this Democratic year, the subject that dominates chatter among pollsters is Obama’s stubbornly slim lead.

If there is a primary explanation as to why the race has remained close this summer, it is that Obama has failed to make gains overall with white voters, who still cast about three in four ballots on Election Day.

As Gore did in 2000, Obama nearly splits white women and loses white men by a large margin, according to an aggregate of polling in June and July 2008, and 2000 polling by the Pew Research Center for People and the Press.

Depending upon the week in June or July, by Gallup’s measure, Obama has roughly fluctuated between splitting or, at worst, trailing by about five percent with white women. In that same period, Obama has only won between 34 percent and 37 percent of white men.

In general — and with men in particular — Pew's data shows that Obama's gains with young whites compared to Gore in 2000 are offset by a weakness with older whites.

Obama also seems to have hit a ceiling with Hispanics. Latino support fluctuates between 57 percent, by the latest weekly measure, to 68 percent the week before — roughly the margin of Hispanic support that has marked the entire summer, by Gallup's measure.

What all this suggests is a general election that is much tighter than many analysts predicted and defined by far more stubborn levels of support.

As it stands, on Aug. 3 the Real Clear Politics average of national polling had 46.6 percent of the public supporting Obama, putting him narrowly ahead of McCain. Exactly two months before, on June 3, that same average had Obama at the exact same level of support — 46.6 percent.

|John McCain Ridicules 200000 Berliners Chanting Barack Obama Obama |
Autor(a): Karen Fish	Fecha: 9:59am Jueves 31 Julio 2008	Categoría: Notícias Generales / General News

Lost in the fog of alzheimers rage dementia, John McCain has inadvetently made the point that not only is Barack Obama ready to lead America to a brighter future, but the world has already embraced Barack Obama as the long awaited for, truly loved and admired leader of the free world. One would have thought that Barack Obama would have been airing his rapturous welcome in Europe, where eight years of George Bush John McCain hawkenomics have made American tourists into the skunks at the proverbial garden party, but instead it is John McCain making it the centrepiece of his latest attack ad against Senator Obama. What’s next from the McCain camp, videos of Barack Obama vehemently deriding the George Bush John McCain march into Iraq which has crippled both Iraq and the United States of America?

John McCain is questioning Barack Obama’s ability to lead? George Bush and John McCain are the ones who led the United States into the quagmire that is Iraq and the 11 trillion dollar United States deficit, over the objections of Barack Obama. John McCain wants a hundred year war in Iraq. The entire world understands this except the United States of America. Any country which elected George Bush President twice is sure to elect John McCain President. Jesus Christ said, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his own home.” Jesus challenged the people to use their minds, by throwing double negatives at them.

John McCain wishes that he had the sex lives of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton and this is why he raises the question of offshore drilling. John McCain has come full circle from the Hanoi Hilton to the Paris Hilton. Does anyone really believe that spending five years in the Hanoi Hilton does not leave permanent emotional scars in the mind of the victim? Haven’t we learned the lessons of entrusting the country for 8 years to an alcoholic pathological liar? John McCain is so busy nuclear threatening and alienating the 1.3 billion Islamofascists, the billions of Russian and Chinese Commies, the Teen Choice Awards, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton that he makes Brig. Gen. Jack D. Ripper look like Mother Teresa.

The media have this perverse attraction to sex, blood, gore and violence and completely ignore incredible strides that have been made recently towards world peace. For 5 million years the common grandparents of every human being were Pagans. 4,000 years ago, Judaism was invented by Abraham, who forbid ham and cheese sandwiches. 2,000 years ago the Jewish born Rabbi and Messiah of Christianity and Islam invented Christianity, reinstating the right to eat ham and cheese sandwiches. 1,400 years ago, the Prophet Muhammad invented Islam, once again banning the right to eat ham and cheese sandwiches. John McCain developed such a craving for ham and cheese sandwiches in the Hanoi Hilton that he is now threatening to nuke into oblivion anyone who even suggests that he cannot eat ham and cheese.

If we now follow John McCain into nuclear world war 3 against Islamofascist Iran and their backers Russia and China, every scientist knows that the world wide radioactive cloud will render pigs and dairy cows extinct forever. John McCain is lusting for revenge against North Vietnam and their backers Russia and China, not to mention his obvious lust for tickets to this year’s Grammy Awards.

In Berlin, Barack Obama told the cheering throng, “We must tear down the walls dividing Christians, Muslims and Jews.” You do not know this because the media hasn’t mentioned it, but three years ago, The Temple of Love – The World Peace Religion http://www.thetempleoflove.com was founded. The Temple of Love – The World Peace Religion unites Christians, Muslims and Jews and everyone else by tying them together with their common threads and resolving all of their differences once and for all.

Last year the Temple of Love – The World Peace Religion spawned the world wide Islamic movement, “A Common Word Between You and Us, Love.” http://www.acommonword.com These two peace movements, despite an almost total lack of coverage by the media, have so far brought together Roman Catholics and Protestants after hundreds of years of squabbling, the Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church after a thousand years of squabbling, Pope Benedict XVI, the Archbishop of Canterbury and the religious and political leaders of the Muslim world. Just last week, amid a complete media blackout by the American Media, Saudi King Abdullah, who recently met with Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican, held a world interfaith conference in Madrid Spain, at which he literally embraced Christianity and an Israeli, in a move more shocking than the Madonna Britney Spears open mouth kiss.

Saudi King Abdullah’s interfaith conference in Madrid, Spain was attended by representatives of Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism and Hinduism. The American Tiger Woods represented the Buddhists, giving a heavily attended lecture on the Zen of Putting. According to Tiger, if you are facing a downhill sidehill 5 footer for all the marbles, you need to transcend into a heavily meditative state and chant internally to yourself, “It’s Time for a Change.”

Jordanian King Abdullah and Jordanian Prince Ghazi founded “A Common Word Between You and Us, Love.” Now Muslim moderates worldwide have taken the baton, led by Saudi King Abdullah, who at the interfaith conference in Spain requested the Christian, Muslim and Jewish people to unite as one, and to reject the forces of religious fanaticism. Pope Benedict XVI declared that never again should religion be used as a reason for war. American Jordanian Queen Noor has spearheaded a U.N. Alliance of Civilizations Media Fund of $100 million to fund films promoting Christian, Muslim and Jewish Harmony.

Instead of the media and universities covering and teaching The Temple of Love – The World Peace Religion, and A Common Word Between You and Us, Love, and the interfaith reconciliation movements of Pope Benedict XVI and Jordanian and Saudi King Abdullah, our media and universities are remaining silent on these life on earth saving initiatives. Last December, Al Gore told Time Magazine, “When I was in the Snow and Ice Data Center, receiving a full briefing on the polar ice caps, afterwards I would turn on my T.V. and there were two networks with the bulletin: Britney Spears loses custody of her children. We’re living in a madhouse if our priorities focus on the embalming of Anna Nicole Smith, or the trial of OJ Simpson, while we ignore the greatest crisis this nation has ever faced.”

Al Qaeda is now calling for the assassination of Saudi King Abdullah for holding the Madrid Interfaith Conference and bringing the religions together. Jordanian and Saudi King Abdullah, Pope Benedict XVI, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Chief Rabbi of Israel and Barack Obama are calling for the reconciliation of the world’s religions before they lead us all into the Apocalypse, as Osama bin Laden, George Bush and John McCain call for the continuation of their Religious Crusades. John McCain questions Barack Obama’s ability to lead. There is no question. Barack Obama wants to “tear down the walls dividing Christians, Muslims and Jews”, and John McCain wants to go to nuclear war against 1.3 billion Islamofascists, Russia and China.

Before you make your choice who to follow, you should know this. The Christian Bible was written a hundred years after Jesus died by Greek authors. In the book of Revelations, Jesus Christ flies down from heaven on a flying horse and defeats the snake, goat, lion Beast, Devil. In the Greek Myth, written a thousand years ealier, Prince Bellerophon flies on his flying horse Pegasus and defeats the snake, goat, lion Chimera. You are gambling the fate of life on earth on a plagiarized fairy tale, like the one about it being a bad thing for the President of the United States to be adored by the people of the world, our new allies under President Obama.

DNC Platform meeting and the position that we submitted to the Obama Campaign for consideration.

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/kallab/blog/b4aa320a-0d4a-4d26-acca-1a39d1bd7335"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/736/7e7/7367e70b-a2e7-4552-9be8-8cbb24f95b01.thumb" width="65" height="48" alt="" />
    </a>
<div>Last Saturday I hosted a Democratic National Convention Platform meeting at my home. This was an event that happened all over the country with groups of Americans coming together to discuss and to decide exactly which issues we feel are important for the DNC to incorporate into their platform this year. Normally this is done by Washington insiders, but this year the Obama campaign decided that it wanted to open up that process to US, the people of this nation. The intention of the campaign is to hear what WE have to say, and to let US shape future policy.

This had never been done before in this country and I have NOTHING but appreciation and respect for Obama for finding ways to INCLUDE us and encourage us to participate in self-governance.

So, YOUR Los Angeles community of burners and alternative culture was represented by 3. Kalla Brousard, Ceci Castleblanco and Steve Paynie. We had lively discussions about a few topics, but the one that we felt to be the most important was the matter of our civil liberties and our right to freedom of expression, which we feel is gravely threatened by the FISA Act and the egregious expansion of power pirated by Bush through it.

I invite you to do some research on it if you are not familiar with this issue:

http://blog.seattletimes.nwsource.com/dailydemocracy/2008/07/senate_passes_fisa_act.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_Intelligence_Surveillance_Act
http://www.fas.org/irp/agency/doj/fisa/

This is the position that we submitted to the campaign. It's in a very specific format that was requested by the campaign. Keeping it brief and clear:

"The Fisa Act violates our Constitutional Rights, which threatens our American and human spirit, thus threating our people's free enterprise and prosperity.

We believe in the right to express oneself freely without the oppression of surveillance and without the fear and threat of indiscriminate prosecution.

The Fisa Act should be overturned and the telecommunications companies should be held accountable for their violation of our Constitution and the Constitutional rights of the citizens who are their customers. "

* Of particular note to me is that Obama voted FOR the Fisa Act. That pissed me off to the max, even though I know he did it for political reasons. He has said that if he gets elected he will revisit this issue in favor of the American people. If he does become President, we MUST turn the heat up on him and keep the heat up until he overturns this fascist piece of legislation. I don't agree with all of Obama's positions. I do agree with the vast majority of them though and I think that with him as president WE will have greater ACCESS to our government.

John McCain is simply not an option. Do you know what he is for? If WE don't get into action during this election to actively support Obama's bid for president we will DEFINITELY get McCain/Bush for another 4 to 8 years. I don't know if you all know just how CLOSE this race for President actually is. It's close. Barack is NOT guaranteed to win in the slightest. His winning is COMPLETELY up to us. As far as I'm concerned, Obama needs to win a landslide victory to circumvent any GOP voter suppression and trickery. WE are the ones who will have to deliver that though. US, not them. YOU, not somebody else.

* On another note, I was not at all surprised that only 3 people from our community participated in this event. 2 other people had planned to show up, but couldn't make it. I appreciated their intention to stand up. On Sundays, post Saturday partying, we get a couple dozen people randomly showing up at the house to enjoy the pool and booze. We've also had anywhere from 50 to 300 people show up for birthday/pool parties that we've had this summer here too. Hmmmm...

Are you paying attention? Do you know what's at stake in this election? What if Al Gore had been president over the last 7 years INSTEAD of Bush, the pirate? Do you think our domestic/economic, foreign and environmental policies would be just a bit different than they are today?

The election is in less than 100 days. What are you waiting for?

By the way, I'm going to Burning Man too, so am in the same boat as many of you. Planning, planning away. However, I'm not taking my eye off the ball, and I plan to register voters while I'm there. I also plan to get as many Obama supporters as I can to become volunteers for the campaign.

Ummm... What are you doing?

Enlightening information. Please pass it along to ALL of your friends, especially Republicans. They too should have access to this information! It may dispel the Republican money myth about Democrats being the big money spenders, the big government expanders, and the big tax raisers. That tends to be a central argument for Republicans against Democrats. This link offers data to refute that mightily. Check it out, and do your own research.

If you STILL don't think your getting involved to make sure that Obama indeed gets elected matters, I'm here to tell you that you are DEAD WRONG!

Can you imagine where the economy, the environment, our foreign relations would be today if GORE had won the election instead of BUSH? Just think about it. IT MATTERS!

Obama is NOT guaranteed to win this election, but he WILL win if we ALL get involved!

No, Obama is not THE answer, but I do think we will have greater access to our government if he is elected. Then it's up to US!!! It's actually always been up to us.

Keith Olbermann refutes it!

The McCain campaign is irresponsibly slamming Barack Obama for canceling his intended trip to visit wounded soldiers in Germany.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20080728/pl_politico/12092;_ylt=AsUSPUIdFF3GwPJOgPLhGBFh24cA

What actually happened was that the Pentagon informed the Obama campaign one day before the intended visit that only his Senate staff and secret service detail would be allowed to accompany him, but his Senate staff had already gone home. There was nothing the campaign could do about it by that time, so the visit was cancelled. This story is being SPUN and spread by the right wing to make Obama appear unpatriotic. There's an ad out from the McCain campaign stating that Obama would rather exercise than visit wounded soldiers! The MccCain version is thoroughly inaccurate and misleading at best. The fault lies with the Pentagon ultimately for not informing the Obama campaign of the rules in a timely manner. I think that McCain should issue Obama a formal apology, because HE'S LYING to make Obama appear to be unpatriotic!

PROPAGANDIST!!!

TELL THE TRUTH, MCCAIN!!

AND WHY ISN'T THE TRUTH GETTING MORE TRACTION IN THE MAIN STREAM MEDIA?!?! They're reporting on the McCain slam, but not on the inaccuracy of it!</div>

    </a>
<div>I didn't think that it would make me cry, but it did.

In spite of all the glaring shortcomings to be found here and abroad, I am proud to be an American and I am proud to be a citizen of this world.

There is so much to be done. There is so much to give. There is so much to be a stand for.

Did I come here to make a difference or not? Is it up to me or isn't it?

Obama rebuttal to the flap over his FISA vote:

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/kallab/blog/be9d5af5-98c9-49be-b1c2-96a119091616"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/ad1/878/ad1878cc-b7f2-4eb6-a108-a76287edd39e.thumb" width="52" height="78" alt="" />
    </a>
<div>"FROM THE DESK OF BARACK OBAMA

I want to take this opportunity to speak directly to those of you who oppose my decision to support the FISA compromise.
This was not an easy call for me. I know that the FISA bill that passed the House is far from perfect. I wouldn't have drafted the legislation like this, and it does not resolve all of the concerns that we have about President Bush's abuse of executive power. It grants retroactive immunity to telecommunications companies that may have violated the law by cooperating with the Bush Administration's program of warrantless wiretapping. This potentially weakens the deterrent effect of the law and removes an important tool for the American people to demand accountability for past abuses. That's why I support striking Title II from the bill, and will work with Chris Dodd, Jeff Bingaman and others in an effort to remove this provision in the Senate.
But I also believe that the compromise bill is far better than the Protect America Act that I voted against last year. The exclusivity provision makes it clear to any President or telecommunications company that no law supersedes the authority of the FISA court. In a dangerous world, government must have the authority to collect the intelligence we need to protect the American people. But in a free society, that authority cannot be unlimited. As I've said many times, an independent monitor must watch the watchers to prevent abuses and to protect the civil liberties of the American people. This compromise law assures that the FISA court has that responsibility
The Inspectors General report also provides a real mechanism for accountability and should not be discounted. It will allow a close look at past misconduct without hurdles that would exist in federal court because of classification issues. The recent investigation uncovering the illegal politicization of Justice Department hiring sets a strong example of the accountability that can come from a tough and thorough IG report.
The ability to monitor and track individuals who want to attack the United States is a vital counter-terrorism tool, and I'm persuaded that it is necessary to keep the American people safe -- particularly since certain electronic surveillance orders will begin to expire later this summer. Given the choice between voting for an improved yet imperfect bill, and losing important surveillance tools, I've chosen to support the current compromise. I do so with the firm intention -- once Im sworn in as President -- to have my Attorney General conduct a comprehensive review of all our surveillance programs, and to make further recommendations on any steps needed to preserve civil liberties and to prevent executive branch abuse in the future.
Now, I understand why some of you feel differently about the current bill, and I'm happy to take my lumps on this side and elsewhere. For the truth is that your organizing, your activism and your passion is an important reason why this bill is better than previous versions. No tool has been more important in focusing peoples' attention on the abuses of executive power in this Administration than the active and sustained engagement of American citizens. That holds true -- not just on wiretapping, but on a range of issues where Washington has let the American people down.
I learned long ago, when working as an organizer on the South Side of Chicago, that when citizens join their voices together, they can hold their leaders accountable. I'm not exempt from that. I'm certainly not perfect, and expect to be held accountable too. I cannot promise to agree with you on every issue. But I do promise to listen to your concerns, take them seriously, and seek to earn your ongoing support to change the country. That is why we have built the largest grassroots campaign in the history of presidential politics, and that is the kind of White House that I intend to run as President of the United States -- a White House that takes the Constitution seriously, conducts the peoples' business out in the open, welcomes and listens to dissenting views, and asks you to play your part in shaping our countrys destiny.
Democracy cannot exist without strong differences. And going forward, some of you may decide that my FISA position is a deal breaker. That's ok. But I think it is worth pointing out that our agreement on the vast majority of issues that matter outweighs the differences we may have. After all, the choice in this election could not be clearer. Whether it is the economy, foreign policy, or the Supreme Court, my opponent has embraced the failed course of the last eight years, while I want to take this country in a new direction. Make no mistake: if John McCain is elected, the fundamental direction of this country that we love will not change. But if we come together, we have an historic opportunity to chart a new course, a better course.
So I appreciate the feedback through my.barackobama.com, and I look forward to continuing the conversation in the months and years to come. Together, we have a lot of work to do.

OBAMA '08 "

Okay, I get it.

I appreciate that he took the time to clarify his stance in such a lucid way. I still don't agree with his decision, but I respect the path he apparently took to make it, and his intention to go further into this when he is elected. Okay, I'm not pissed anymore. I just look forward to turning the heat on when he gets elected. I actually believe that he will listen to us.</div>

										<div>From Jimi:

John McCain, the "straight-talking, maverick" Republican candidate for president, is rapidly becoming better known as a flip-flopping, sycophant, who is happy to keep our troops in Iraq for another 100 years. In contrast to Barack Obama's campaign of optimism and hope, McCain offers a vision that is squarely focused on obstacles.

    </a>
<div>Last night I came upon you as a presence to a man.
Indeed you were, you are a man.
In that moment it looked as if you were making something with your hands.
You were in a room filled with those who loved you best among men.
They were talking amongst themselves.
When I arrived, floating not two feet in front and just barely above you, you immediately stopped and looked up and into my eyes.
In those moments you were completely present to me.
Noone else knew that I was there.
When you looked up you didn't just see me, you SAW me.

You were real. A man. Grounded. Strong. Quiet. You were compassion. You were wisdom and knowledge. You were clear and of singular purpose. You were unwavering. Uncompromising. Available. You were reverent. You were human. You emanated peace. You channeled light. You were a master, the embodiment of the marriage between the realm of light and of world of the material.

In those moments you spoke volumes without saying a word.

"Finally. You are here."
"I have been waiting for you.
"I await you always."
"I am here for you. I am always here for you."
"I am closer than you think."
"You are not alone. You are never alone."
"Come to me. You are ALWAYS welcomed."
"I see you."
"Don't you know who you are?"
"You and I are the same."
"What are you waiting for?"
"Do what you came here to do. It is time."
"Any time you spend doing things, wanting things, getting things strictly for the self, is a waste of time. It is time for you to go beyond that."
"Be at peace."
"Have compassion for yourself."
"Pray always."
"Go to the source always."
"I love you."
"You are loved."
"You are love."

    </a>
<div>This is an invitation that I just got from the Obama '08 Campaign.

Dear Kalla,

This has been a 50-state campaign from the very beginning. A year ago this week, our grassroots supporters organized a nationwide canvass in more than 1,000 cities to introduce people to Barack Obama.

Since then, we've had an unprecedented primary season that built grassroots infrastructure in all 50 states -- not just for Barack, but for all of the Democratic candidates.

Now it's time to bring all of that energy together for our common cause of change.

All across the country, Democrats, Independents, and even Republicans are tired of the politics of the past and are looking for new solutions to the challenges we're facing.

That's why we're launching a nationwide day of action on June 28th called "Unite for Change" -- and asking you to host a Unite for Change meeting in your neighborhood.

In all 50 states, supporters like you -- seasoned veterans and first-time volunteers alike -- will host house meetings with the express purpose of reaching out and bringing together folks who supported all of the Democratic candidates (and those who are just tuning into the process now).

The goal is to come together and use the common values we share to build a united volunteer organization in your neighborhood that will register new voters and build support locally.

It's going to be an amazing time, and hosting your own event is easy. We'll provide all the tools and resources you'll need.

Learn more and sign up to host a Unite for Change party on June 28th:

http://my.barackobama.com/unite

We're heading into a battle against John McCain, and the stakes are higher than ever before.

But the path to victory is as simple as talking to your friends and neighbors.

From the beginning, this campaign has been about ordinary people reaching out and building the bonds of community -- empowering one another by coming together to make change.

With the general election approaching, it's more important than ever to keep this momentum going. And there's no better way to make this happen in your community than hosting a Unite for Change event.

You'll gather -- not just with Obama supporters, but with anyone who's tired of the politics of the past and ready for something new -- to share your stories and lay the plans for how to build this movement locally in the weeks and months ahead.

It requires some responsibility, but don't worry -- our team will be here with all the support and resources you need to make your Unite for Change event a big success.

Yesterday, our deputy campaign manager, Steve Hildebrand, announced that this will be the first campaign in a generation to put staff in all 50 states.

It says a lot about our movement -- and about the enthusiasm and resources people like you have supplied -- that this is possible.

But being in every state will not be enough.

In order to succeed in every community in America, it's going to be up to you to take the lead. Everyone who hopes for real change after November is counting on you.

Thank you,

										<div>http://www.johnmccain.com/landing/b3.htm?&amp;sid=google&amp;t=Iran&amp;r=iraqwar

Are you KIDDING ME? Like grandstanding has done the US a lot of good in the 'war on terror' or with our supposed 'enemies'!

WEAK SAUCE, MCCAIN!!!!! Besides, although Ahmenejad is the president of Iran, he is NOT the LEADER of that nation, and does not have the final say about how that country is run!

WHO is the leader of Iran and DOES have that power anyway?!?!?

Well, here's a little lesson about this brought to you by: skysmom65

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is the current Supreme Leader of Iran.

The Supreme Leader is elected by the Assembly of Experts, which is also in charge of overseeing the Supreme Leader, and has the power to dismiss and replace him at any time. Although the members of the Assembly of Experts are elected by public vote, the Guardian Council (whose fuqaha members are appointed by the Supreme Leader) vets the candidates before the election. Many political analysts believe this creates a "closed loop of power" and many prominent Iranian reformists have voiced their opposition to the current election laws (including Abdollah Noori) but have not been able to bring any changes to the law.

While the Supreme Leader is generally considered as the ultimate head of the Iranian political establishment, the President of Iran, who is elected by direct public vote, is the Executive President (Head of government, directly in charge of the executive branch).

Obama also said that there would be very meticulous preparations made for such a meeting with the head of Iran. Without condition does NOT mean flying blindly and making something like a playa date!

So, let the games begin! What else you got?

Hey, BURNERS, http://tribes.tribe.net/burnersforobamanov4thvote let's nip this in the bud and say, "It is NOT weakness to engage in dialogue with your 'enemies', but strength. It takes courage, resolve and the art of DIPLOMACY, which the current administration is egregiously unfamiliar with, AND that McCain is sadly willing to embrace, just as he has flip-flopped and is now FOR making tax cuts for the wealthy PERMANENT!"

Go sell grandstanding, shortsightedness, cowardly behavior, and snobbery somewhere else. Don't you know that flip flops are shoes that you wear and not positions you maneuver into to trying to woo the conservative vote in order to become president? What happened to the straight talk express? We've had enough of political pandering, fear mongering and bone headed foreign policy positions.

Hee-hee! Here we go again!

Clarification of Obama's stance on meeting with the leaders of Iran and possibly other countries not exactly friendly to the US. I pulled this from the KNOW THE FACTS section under the LEARN tab of the campaign website.http://factcheck.barackobama.com/factcheck/2008/06/04/abcs_inaccurate_report_of_obam.php

ABC's Inaccurate Report of Obama's Position on Meeting With Foreign Leaders
June 04, 2008

ABC Incorrectly Writes: "Barack Obama's position on talking to Iran has been evolving since last year's CNN/Youtube debate, when he said he would be willing to meet 'without precondition' with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea during the first year of his administration. During a speech before a pro-Israel group on Wednesday, however, Obama, D-Ill., who clinched the delegates necessary to claim the Democratic nomination on Tuesday, presented an entirely different position...now Obama has put a major condition on his willingness to meet with Iran: he will meet only if such a meeting advances the interests of the U.S." [ABC, 6/4/08]

REALITY: Obama has consistently said he is willing to meet, without preconditions but with preparation, the leaders of Iran. This could include, but is not limited to, Ahmadinejad. Ahmadinejad is not the most powerful person in Iran, and his status is uncertain as there will be Presidential elections in Iran in 2009.

OBAMA HAS SAID HE WOULD BE WILLING TO MEET WITH THE LEADERS OF IRAN
Obama Said He Would Be Willing To Meet Without Precondition With The Leaders Of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba, And North Korea. Obama was asked "Would you be willing to meet separately, without precondition, during the first year of your administration, in Washington or anywhere else, with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea, in order to bridge the gap that divides our countries?" Obama responded, "I would. And the reason is this, that the notion that somehow not talking to countries is punishment to them -- which has been the guiding diplomatic principle of this administration -- is ridiculous." [CNN, Youtube Debate, 7/24/07]

Obama Said He'd Be Willing To Meet Without Precondition The Leaders Of Iran. Asked if he were still willing to meet without pre-condition during your first year with Fidel Castro, Kim Jung Il, Hugo Chavez, Obama said, "I do. Now, I did not say that I would be meeting with all of them. I said I'd be willing to. Obviously, there is a difference between pre-conditions and preparation. Pre-conditions, which was what the question was in that debate, means that we won't meet with people unless they've already agreed to the very things that we expect to be meeting with them about. And obviously, when we say to Iran, 'We won't meet with you until you've agreed to all the terms that we've laid out,'" from their perspective that's not a negotiation, that's not a meeting." [Meet the Press, 11/11/07]

Obama Said That He Would Be Willing To Meet With Iranian Leaders After Sufficient Preparation. Obama said, "I would be willing to meet with Iranian leaders if we had done sufficient preparations for that meeting." [CNN, 5/20/08]

Obama Said He'd Be Willing To Meet At Some Point With The Leaders Of Iran. Obama said, "But what I have said is that at some point I would be willing to meet. And that is a position -- I mean, what's puzzling is that we view this as in any way controversial when this has been the history of U.S. diplomacy until very recently." [Watertown, SD Press Avail, 5/16/08]

Obama Said The Approach He's Suggesting Is Tough But Engaged Diplomacy Like What Was Carried Out By Kennedy, Nixon, And Reagan. Obama said, "The approach I am suggesting, the tough but engaged diplomacy that I am suggesting is the kind that was carried out by John Kennedy, it was carried out by Richard Nixon, and it was carried out by Ronald Reagan. There is a strong bipartisan tradition of engaging in that kind of diplomacy. You mirror military strength with aggressive, effective, tough diplomacy. That's what's been lacking." [Watertown, SD Press Avail, 5/16/08]

OBAMA IS WILLING TO MEET WITH AHMADINEJAD BUT AHMADINEJAD MAY NOT BE THE RIGHT PERSON SINCE HE'S NOT THE MOST POWERFUL PERSON IN IRAN AND MAY BE OUT OF POWER SHORTLY AFTER OBAMA TAKES OFFICE
Obama Said That He Would Be Willing To Meet With Iranian Leaders After Sufficient Preparation Had Been Done But Ahmadinejad Might Not Be The Right Person. "Obama said Tuesday that 'this obsession with Ahmadinejad is an example of us losing track of what's important.' 'I would be willing to meet with Iranian leaders if we had done sufficient preparations for that meeting,' Obama said. 'Whether Ahmadinejad is the right person to meet with right now, we don't even know how much power he is going to have a year from now. He is not the most powerful person in Iran.'" [CNN, 5/20/08]

Obama Said There Was No Reason Why He Would Necessarily Meet With Ahmadinejad Before We Know That He's Actually In Power. Obama said, "There's no reason why we would necessarily meet with Ahmadinejad before we know that he was actually in power. He's not the most powerful person in Iran." [Reuters, 5/27/08]

Obama Said That Ahmadinejad Is Not The Most Powerful Leader In Iran So He Might Not Be The Person That We Would Meet With. MS. KELLY: Senator, do you assume too much about men like Ahmadinejad? In other words, that you could reason with someone as irrational as he is? SEN. OBAMA: First of all, he's not the most powerful leader in Iran, so he might not be the person that we would need to meet with. But more importantly, the reason that you have discussions and diplomacy is not because you assume reason or good motives on the other side. That would be naive. What you assume is that if you are very clear about the need to stand down on nuclear weapons, that you are very clear about the need to stop funding Hezbollah and Hamas and to stop threatening Israel, and you have engaged in those direct talks, and you're listening about what their interests are, number one, we get a better sense of what their true interests are, number two, you have sent a message to the world that we are not the impediment of making progress, that they're the ones who are holding up progress, which allows us then to strengthen our alliances to impose the kinds of tough sanctions that may be necessary to change their behavior. [Fox News, 5/20/08]

Obama Said He Would Not Restrict Meetings To Ahmadinejad But Would Also Seek To Meet With Clerics Who Are The Ultimate Authority. "Obama's response: 'I would include Ahmadinejad to the extent that he is part of an Iranian government, but I would not restrict my meetings to him. I don't know where he will be a year or year and a half from now.' (Ahmadinejad could lose in 2009.) Obama said he would also seek to meet 'with negotiators who may have more power than (Ahmadinejad), including the clerics who are the ultimate authority.'" [Philadelphia Inquirer, 4/17/08]

Obama Said Iran's President Is Kind Of "Nutty" But He's Not The Most Powerful Person In Iran. "Obama in response to a question from a Sioux City voter about how he would negotiate with extremists in the Mideast, said, 'When I talk to Iran, the president is kinda nutty, but he's not the most powerful person.' If the clerics who run Iran were willing to work with the U.S. against terrorists, stop funding terrorist organizations and not seek nuclear weapons Obama said he would consider easing sanctions." [Chicago Sun Times, 1/2/08]

THE IRAQ STUDY GROUP RECOMMENDED MEETING WITH THE IRAN WITHOUT PRECONDITIONS, AT THE LEVEL OF SECRETARY OF STATE OR PRESIDENT
The Bi-Partisan Iraq Study Group Report Recommended That The U.S. Engage In Direct Diplomacy With Iran And Syria Without Preconditions. "Dealing with Iran and Syria is controversial. Nevertheless, it is our view that in diplomacy, a nation can and should engage its adversaries and enemies to try to resolve conflicts and differences consistent with its own interests. Accordingly, the Support Group should actively engage Iran and Syria in its diplomatic dialogue, without preconditions." [Iraq Study Group Report]

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PRECONDITIONS AND PREPARATION
Obama Has Been Explicit About The Need For Low Level Talks With A Presidential Summit Coming Only If There Were Progress In Those Negotiations. "Obama has also been explicit about the need to start with lower-level talks, a presidential summit coming only if there were progress in those negotiations." [Time, 5/22/08]

Obama Said That He Would Not Refuse To Meet Iran Until They Have Agreed To Every Position That We Want But He Would Have Preparation Starting With Lower Level Diplomatic Contacts. "Preconditions, as applies to a country like Iran, for example, was a term of art, because this administration has been very clear that it will not have direct negotiations with Iran until Iran has met preconditions that are essentially what Iran views and many other observers would view as the subject of the negotiations. For example, their nuclear program. The point is, is that I would not refuse to meet until they agreed to every position that we want, but that doesn't mean that we would not have preparation. And the preparation would involve starting with lower-level diplomatic contacts, having our diplomat core work through with Iranian counterparts an agenda." [Watertown, SD Press Avail, 5/16/08]

Obama Said There Was A Difference Between Preparation And Preconditions. The Kansas City Star reported, "'The argument was that I would invite Hugo Chavez over to my house, and we'd pop open a beer and we'd start talking…That's the lack of preparation. There's no one that would meet another head of state without preparation. Preconditions refer to something specific. We've refused to talk to Iran until they meet preconditions.' Obama admitted that his willingness to try a new approach to foreign policy was his way of rocking the political boat. 'I've been trying to challenge some conventional wisdom,' Obama said. 'And the purveyors of conventional wisdom have gotten uncomfortable. I don't mind that discomfort. I think our foreign policy is all messed up.'" [Kansas City Star, 8/20/07]

Obama: Nobody Expects You Would Meet with Hostile Leaders Without Having Done the Appropriate Groundwork. Obama said, "Nobody expects that you would suddenly just sit down with them for coffee without having done the appropriate groundwork," he said. "But the question was: Would you meet them without preconditions? And part of the Bush doctrine has been to say no." [Washington Post, 7/27/07]

Not knowing what level of involvement any of you currently have in the Obama campaign... I'm inviting you to either step in now to get involved or to step up the level of involvement you already have!

I look forward to helping put Barack in the White House with your help and with the help our highly motivated, very intentional, powerful Burning Man community!

For now, I'd say talk to all your friends and get them onboard!!! It is going to take every single one of us getting into action to make the Obama presidency a reality! The more people we can recruit to volunteer in the swing states, the traditionally red states, and the freakin' SOUTH, the better. I'm thinkin' we need a victory of near landslide proportions to negate any GOP voter disenfranchisement trickery in November.

Hey, are you willing to host Obama campaign events at your home? Become a precinct captain for the campaign? Go door to door? Make phone calls? Fundraise? Encourage registered Democrats to vote in November? Encourage Republicans to make the switch? Register new Democrats? Attend organizing meetings? Wear Obama gear? Put Obama yard signs in front of your house? Create pro-Obama content to put up on the net, on You Tube? ANY and all of this will help!

Let me know. Thanks!

    </a>
<div>I cannot tell you what a long and arduous primary campaign season this has been for me since I jumped onboard the Obama campaign back in December!

Today marks the final two voting contests being held in South Dakota and Montana! This evening the voting will be OVER! Obama needs less than 40 delegates to reach the 2,118 required to clinch the nomination. He' s bound to get most of them by the end of today's voting contests, then seal the deal with the Super delegates that are planning to cast their votes for him by tomorrow or by the end of the week to help wrap up this nightmare of a primary season in order to focus on BEATING John McCain in the general election.

For this I am SOOOOO grateful! I can't believe that it is FINALLY JUNE 3RD!!!!!!!!!

I'm SO ready to celebrate, then kick it into full gear to help Barack win the PRESIDENCY!!!!!

Now's the time to get involved if you aren't already. Believe me, Barack is going to need ALL the help he can get to win in November. His victory will come from the grass roots movement that WE are able to mobilize! I envision a powerful collective of BURNERS for OBAMA making a big difference in this country, house by house, block by block, neighborhood by neighborhood, city by city, state by state and ACROSS the nation! Whatever you do, DON'T depend on ME to be in action. I will be, but I'm only ONE person, and this sweeping movement for change needs YOU!!!! YES, YOU!

YES WE CAN!!!

I invite you to join Burners for Obama tribe http://tribes.tribe.net/burnersforobamanov4thvote and to go the official campaign website to see how you can get involved. http://www.barackobama.com

The time is now! Let's BE the change we want to experience!!!

Much love and infinite optimism in what's POSSIBLE in our community, in our country and in our world!

    </a>
										<div>Hello, All!

I just got back from an absolutely MAGICAL and BLISSED out weekend at LIB with SO many people that I know and love!!!

Who made me work some SERIOUS shit out on the dance floor????? (Mind you, I arrived on Saturday.)

DJ Braden
The Glitch Mob
Ana Sia
Ianator
Beats Antique
Lynx
Geno and Abai of Castle Dub Skull
Patricio
Pod &amp; Pim

That's just my little list. Shrine's shrine was pretty epic. The love was flowing from EVERYWHERE!!!! Talent was flowing from EVERYWHERE!!! Beauty was flowing from EVERYWHERE!!!

I'd say it was better than last year, which was great, and that year was better than the year before! As I told Jesse on my way out, "Next year is bound to be UNBEARABLE!" (In a good way :-)

So on to the title: As I approached my car to leave, I saw that black Puma bag sitting on the trunk with nary a soul in site. I stopped by the entrance booth on the way out and it was a ghost town. I didn't see anyone that looked like they were involved with the event at all. I didn't know whether its owner had already departed and left the bag, or if it was accidentally placed on my car in some altered state induced stupor, and I was not about to trudge BACK into the campground to try to track that person down! So, I figured that I'd take the bag home with me, post it on TRIBE, and ship the bag and its contents back to it's rightful owner when they turn up.

All you need to do is tell me what the contents of the bag are and it's YOURS!!!!

Please do pass this post on. I really do want the owner of the bag to be reunited with it. I'll keep it safe in LA until then. :-)

Wow! What a special weekend. Completely worth it!!!!

Aaaahhhh... LIB 2009. I look forward to it. :-)

Until then...</div>

<div>Wanna know just how GREAT this man is? What an exceptional FRIEND and HUMAN BEING this man is?

He called me yesterday from LIB just to tell me that it was COLD and WINDY there and that I should bring a warm jacket!

First of all, for some reason, COLD has NOT been on my mind since it's been so warm here in LA, and the one thing that THIS little love bunny CANNOT deal with unless she's on a snowboard is the COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eric, you just made my life THAT much better. Now, mind ya'll, this man is loved to pieces by SO MANY PEOPLE, including myself, and yet I am AMAZED that he picked up the phone just to tell me THAT! Geez, what an incredibly considerate and concerned friend he is. I know he posted that blog, which had me pull out a cutie little jacket, but to receive a call too!!!

SO GRATEFUL! MAD RESPECT! Boy am I going to hug the ever living crap out SPACEMAN when I see him this weekend. Hell, I might just tackle his amazing ass TO THE GROUND!!!!!

YAY for SPACEMAN!!!!! BOO for COLD, unless you're on a snowboard or you're a polar bear!!!

P.S. If ya'll bitchezz get there before me, please tackle Eric to the ground and say it was from ME! THANKS!</div>

    </a>
<div>I cry this morning because my heart breaks with just how beautiful this life is.
Tears of joy.
I am awake.
What do I hear right now at 6:29 in the morning?
Birds singing their morning song.
If I were deaf I would not be able to hear them.
What do I feel because I have no nerve damage?
Tears rolling down my cheeks.
My breathe as I sigh heavily, aware that my lungs are fully functioning.
Yes. I am blessed in this moment for I know that in the blink of an eye all of this could fall away.
The words on this page could disappear forever should I lose my sight.
I would not be able to see the faces of the ones I love so dearly.
If I could not speak I would not be able to tell them how much I love them, or to sing my joy.
My body is healthy and strong and can take me wherever my mind imagines and my heart desires.
My heart, my tender heart is oh so brave.
Yes. I am free, and I know that the greatest gift I've been given in this lifetime is love.
The ability to love so deeply, so wildly, and with such abandon.
This life as I've come to know it is an ongoing opportunity to love.
With no regrets.
With no expectations.
Just love.

    </a>
										<div>http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post/stateupdates/gGBlvM

Why?! JOHN EDWARDS FINALLY ENDORSED BARACK OBAMA!!!!!

At the end of a grueling 48 hours that left me completely exhausted, this was SUCH welcomed news. I have NO idea what effect this will have on the electorate, if any at all, but what a giant morale booster. This has been such a hard fought primary season with ups and downs like a freaking roller coaster. I continue to support the campaign on several different levels. I'm also looking at how I can get my butt up to Oregon to help out.

I'm so grateful. I'm so proud.

It's time to heal the fracture and to bridge the divide. It's time to defeat John McCain. If you are an Obama supporter and you've yet to get involved in the campaign, I invite you to do so now on whatever level you can. If you are an Obama supporter and you are already involved in the campaign, I invite you to step it up a notch. He's going to need all the help he can get during the general election. You KNOW that the Republican attack machine is gearing up for the "all out, guns blazing, take no prisoners" assault of a lifetime.

I am willing to be on the front line of defense. I believe in this man and what he's tapped into in the collective consciousness. No amount of skepticism or cynicism from anyone else is going to dampen or derail my conviction.

Head over to the official campaign website: http://www.barackobama.com

There you will find dozens of ways to get involved locally and nationally, if you are so inclined. If you STILL think it doesn't matter who's in office, I invite you to look at the last 8 years through the very real possibility of them having been under AL GORE and NOT GW. There's NO doubt that he would have been a better president than GW. I would have been a better president than GW! YOU would have been a better president than GW! For starters our carbon footprint on the planet would be far less under Gore. Secondly, the situation in Iraq would look remarkably different than it does now, as would the impact that it has had on our economy and on our standing in the world.

I'm REALLY clear that my actions have already made a difference in this campaign, that my voice has been and continues to be heard. I'm also clear that having been inspired by the campaign, I've made a difference in the lives of grade school kids in a classroom all the way on the other side of the country! I helped to fund a project by a teacher who wanted to add a 'Harry Potter" book to her active participation reading list. There are so many other projects in the works too. Check this out:
http://www.donorschoose.org/donors/viewChallenge.html?id=18369&amp;zone=0

Check out my dorky exuberance back in March in response to Obama people getting things DONE. This is a blog on my personal profile on the Obama campaign site:

"OH MY GOD!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

I was the second person to donate in Obama's name to the 'Everyone Deserves a Chance' fund through Donor's Choose.org a couple of hours ago. I donated $50 and about $700 or so was still needed. I just happened to check back to see if anyone else had donated yet and the WHOLE THING IS ALREADY FUNDED!!!!

YOU GUYS ROCK SO HARD! I'm SO proud to be a part of this movement with all of you! There is NO doubt in my mind about what Barack keeps talking about with regard to the change happening that is SO needed beginning with US!!!!!!!

I'm not rich by any stretch of the imagination, (Actually, I told a lie. I AM rich!) but I saw this as an opportunity to put my money where my mouth is AGAIN. I've been doing that quite a bit of late thanks to Barack and this campaign.

You guys make me proud to be an American again. Just LOOK at what we are DOING as a community. There's NOTHING we can't accomplish.

Oh boy am I excited! What else you got? Bring it on! Team Obama is on the case!!!"...

To me, it doesn't get much better than that. I LIVE for inspiration!

What an EXCITING time to be alive! I'm grateful for my life EVERY DAY. I know how much of a blessing it is, and it just keeps getting better all the time! In fact, I'm actually quite surprised that I haven't won the Lottery yet!!! How odd!! Must be a glitch in the matrix ;-)

Thank you, Barack, for running for President. This is already a different country because of the way that you've run your campaign. I am proud to be a part of it!

From Compassion to Peace... From Sadness to Ecstasy

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/kallab/blog/a9984bc2-408a-4ee0-b5b5-2327533d66cc"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/f7e/331/f7e331bb-82bd-4948-a3e2-dd8a0bb80659.thumb" width="65" height="48" alt="" />
    </a>
<div>So, a couple of weeks ago I noticed that I was feeling a little sad about nothing in particular. I got present to the sadness and decided to look at it differently.

The context for my life is that my soul is ECSTATIC and of PURE LOVE. That is my natural state. I believe this to be the natural state of all of us.

So, in the moment that I stepped outside of myself and looked AT the sadness, I saw that the sadness was an exercise of my ego, and to continue to feel the sadness was something that I was at choice about. I've known this intellectually for some time, but that was the first time that I had the true experience of it. In the next moment I felt compassion for my ego. I didn't fight it, reject it or make it wrong. I just acknowledged that it was choosing to experience that emotion. In the next moment I focused my attention on my soul and what was emanating from there was peace. Just peace.

If I'm not feeling peace or joy or gratitude or an emotion of that quality, then I'm not truly in tune with my soul. I am not really allowing my true self to be expressed. It is my ego that is running the show at the moment. So, I will continue to acknowledge my ego, have compassion for it then CHOOSE to direct my 'attention' to the blissed out nature of my beingness, which is fond of gratitude and of expressing love.

That's the experience of life I'm committed to having. To be in alignment with my ecstatic and blissed out soul, with love, with God consciousness.

I invite you to do the same.

So tonight I thanked Maria Shriver for supporting BARACK OBAMA.

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/kallab/blog/766ed755-ee3c-46ba-a121-cbd88e9aaf04"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/0e5/c22/0e5c224e-344a-4180-a5b2-d118ee89b4a9.thumb" width="55" height="78" alt="" />
    </a>
<div>I worked this silly, celebrity filled event this evening and ran into Maria Shriver on the way to the bathroom. So, I stopped and thanked her for standing up at a crucial time to support Barack Obama. I saw her at the Michelle Obama and Oprah rally that took place at UCLA just days before the California primary. The ENTIRE event was electric, extraordinary, supercharged and magical. Michelle was flawless and unscripted. Oprah had me saying, "WHAT?!! and GO 'HEAD, GIRL!" Well, when Maria came out, I almost shit a brick because it was SUCH a surprise. She's freaking Arnie's wife! Talk about a split house hold.

Anyway, she was gracious, down to earth, and listened to what I had to say with a genuine openness.

She's a strong Obama supporter. There's something about that kinship that bridges gaps, builds solidarity and brooks openness.

YES WE CAN!!!

FUCK! I LOVE my life!

There's nothing I can't have, be, or do.

All in a night's work.

'Night ya'll.

Much love,

K

<div>ROCKED MY SOCKS OFF!!!

Highlights:

PRINCE was RICOCKULOUS!!! Jimmy HendriX, Elvis and Maxwell all balled up into one! DAMN! Sheila E was in the house as was Morris Day and the Time.
"Controversy" was a killer!
"Little Red Corvette" was latinesque and SEXY AS HELL!!!
He even covered "CREEP" by Radiohead, which was AMAZING!
His whole entire show was brilliant. One of the best concerts I'd ever seen and I saw him a couple of years ago at the Staple Center for the first time. DAMN!
http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/la-et-prince28apr28,0,318613.story

PENDULUM almost killed me, I was dancing so hard. They broke that shit down with LIVE INSTRUMENTATION!!!! WHAT?!?!?!?! Wicked Drum and Bass!!!

I saw MIA, which I appreciated except for the perpetual gunshots that she wove into practically every song and as tweeners with sirens and air raids. It just got to be too much after a while.

CROMEO was an absolute revelation to me. I never heard of them before, but I'm a HUGE fan of them now! Hella sexy! I don't think I've EVER danced as hard and as sexy as I did to this group. Rolling deep with a posse of hot bitches didn't hurt either.

MODESELEKTOR tore it up.

JUSTICE was just about pitch perfect. I have a new found respect for HOUSE! Prior to Justice, I couldn't really stand it. I guess there's such a thing as good house and bad house.

Give me the GOOD house, baby!

THE GLITCH MOB at the Do Lab Stage were just EVIL and Geno on the decks with Abai on the mic was EXACTLY what I wanted to hear at the time. Grime, baby!

Caught a bit of Roger Waters of Pink Floyd and Portishead too. Very sweet.

Got the sick hookup with artist passes/camping and access to a pimpin' RV and a hella fun, raging crewl Post the last shows of the evenings we rocked it hella hard in our own little zone, getting hyphy and crunk with Abai on the decks.

My life is insanely good. I've been working my ass off a lot lately so, it's been amazing having the last 3 weekends in a row be a blast and a half.

Can't wait to create more, contribute more and rock out more with my yummy little family.

Bless!

More! More! More!</div>
