The show is open to family and friends of all ages. Most of the time there is some kind of theme, for instance, Bellydancing to the 60s, Disco, Gothic themes, and all kinds of Fusion. The ambience of the room is reminicent of 60s and 70s Bellydance.
Sept. 30th, I was able to perform to live music. Kashmir was the coordinator/hostess for the evening. What a talented super nice person. We danced two 10-15 min shows each . What a night! Everyone in attendace had a great time and so did I. Go to the website for info and directions to get there.

Thank you! I am so happy the Showcase still goes on. We have been so blessed these past 5 years. I am greatful to have the fine skills of Saviya and more reciently, this past year, Kashmir to help out. Also without the support of the dancers we would have no true showcase. Thank you again! |

Hi Alexiis!
Good to hear from you. This was such a great find. I can't believe it has been 5 years. I have enjoyed every minute of every show I have been privileged to do at the Shimmy Showcase. It gave a great place to experiment with new ideas and keep the traditional one fresh. I hope to see you at Coffee Haven soon.
