I recently had the pleasure of meeting Kami and taking her workshop. She totally kicked my butt! She's approachable and down-to-earth and the workshop was a great experience for me as an up-and-coming dancer.
As a performer, Kami is amazing...she makes it look effortless and has such a stage presence that the audience is left in her thrall. I look forward to my next opportunity to work with, and see her perform live, again! Thanks so much Kami, you raq! ~Domhnulla D May 24, 2008
What can I say about Kami? Well, she's totally one of my favorite dancers out there. Her performances and musical interpretation are elegant, moving, and technically accomplished. She's been an inspiration to me ever since I first saw her perform. And it doesn't hurt that she's kind, down-to-earth, and a fun person to spend time with. She's a real asset to the dance community, and I feel lucky to know her.

I went to Kami's workshop in Seattle. On her off day between being on the road and performing for BDSS, she was nice enough to teach us folk, andI will forever be humble!!! She's a wonderful teacher and she is completely right when she pushes drilling on us, I totally noticed a difference. And the choreo... HOT, HOT,HOT!!! You ROCK girl, and though I would drive from Portland to Seattle any day for you, if you ever decide to make it to Portland you will have an automatic hero's welcome. blessings;)~

I bought this bat lilly about a week ago and I am so in love with it. It is the strangest looking flower and I just sit and look at it, mesmerized. Plus a new flower blooms everyday, I'm gonna be sad to leave it behind when I go on tour again!

As of next week I'll finally be a Bay Area resident! I am so excited, so much closer to the action, the classes, the amazing instructors and the boy and all! I sad that I won't be able to see my San Diego friends as much, but I know that a lot of you come up to the Bay often and it's not like I get to see anyone in San Diego that much anyhow. So from here (Minneapolis) I fly to SD and pack up and get ready to go!
